You know those hard to buy for people on your holiday list? The ones who seem to have everything? Well I’m happy to share my partnership with Maille to give you some gifting ideas to cure your gifting woes :)
Maille is the maker of those amazing mustards and vinegars you’ve likely heard about. They’ve been around for 270 years and were the official supplier to the court of Louis XV. Royal gossip – Louis XV’s mistress, Marquise de Pompadour, was a loyal customer (apart from the Queen’s Vinegar…!). I highly recommend you read Maille’s history (complete with photos) right here. Best “about” story I’ve seen in a long time.
Aaaanyway. Whether it’s served in Versailles or in my kitchen, I can assure you it’s good stuff. I use Maille on all sorts of dishes. The mustards are amazing on ham biscuits. The cornichons are awesome toppers for canapés, and the vinegars and dressings are great on salads among other dishes. They’re the perfect addition to your party menu to add a bit of something special.
My personal faves include the black truffle mustard, the mustard with champagne brandy and winter spices, and the mini gherkins! Check out more gifting ideas below, including their Le Creuset partnership.
