Lilly and Fletcher’s dreams came true when school let out for the summer. We surprised them with a new playground from ATGStores.com.
They both have been dropping playground hints for years so this was pretty major in their book. When ATGStores.com reached out to me about working together to do something great in our backyard I’ll admit I got starry eyed at some of their amazing patio furniture (especially this bamboo daybed). But it really felt like the perfect opportunity to be a fun mom and surprise them big. And it was so sweet to see their happy faces when they saw it!
And it has really turned out well for us because they spend SO much time playing on it! Kids being kids playing outside. That’s what summer is all about.
When you shop at ATGStores.com you can also arrange for installation. Porch.com is their installation partner, and thankfully for me (okay, really for Josh) one of their installers came to our house to put everything together! Amazing! The contractor was a local guy and he did a great job!
We also decided to add an umbrella to our dining table. The sun beats down on this area around lunch time so it’s been a long time coming.
We chose this yellow california umbrella (also from ATGStores.com) and love it. It’s 7.5 feet wide and has a hardwood pool that looks nice and is great quality. Plus it’s really easy to use so I can actually open it up and use it (much unlike the umbrella by our pool that I cannot open by myself). It’s the perfect spot to sit while listening to the kids play on their new playground.
