There is just something special about the holidays that makes me want to go above and beyond to make sure that Lilly and Fletch are experiencing as much of the Christmas magic as they can. It’s all about the sweet moments and the memories made, right? Each year I try to make sure that we add some special ornaments to the tree so that we have a collection that makes our family tree feel like ours.
This year a friend at Hallmark asked me if we would like to try one of their new Handmade Hallmark ornament kits! It’s pretty much the perfect after school activity and both of my kids loved it!
I’m not exactly a “crafty mom” like some of my friends, but this kit is straight up my alley because it comes with everything needed and is not overly complicated.
For the picture ornaments I let the kids choose which pictures of themselves they wanted to use. I guess they were feeling nostalgic because they both chose pictures of when they were younger. Sort of sweet :) I’m always telling them that I don’t want them to grow up.
Working hard and feeling proud :)
Fletcher likes to keep things simple :)
I know I’ll love these ornaments forever!

that is the best!!!
Love the ornament making! I may start this tradition with my two nieces.
I loved making ornaments as a child. My parents still place them up on the tree all these years later!
