I headed upstate South Carolina to Spartanburg a couple of weeks ago to visit my good friend Jane Pope. She’s one of the best that there ever was, y’all. A beautiful person, on the inside and out. I was there for a Land of Nod photo shoot for their August issue. I helped Jane design a playroom (and by “helped” I mean did very little) for her sweet kiddos and the Land of Nod team came in to shoot it for the catalogue. Can’t wait for it to come out and show you everything.
While I was there I obviously begged Jane to swing me by her jewelry studio. It’s not a secret that I’m a HUGE fan of her work. Well, upon stepping in I was taken aback. She’s been holding out on us. That studio up there is exquisite and dreamy. I snapped a few pictures with my iPhone so I could show y’all.
Here’s Jane.
A close up of her Vogue feature!
Looking in the earrings glass case. On top is my favorite pair of earrings of hers that I own – her mismatched stud earrings. You don’t have to mix and match them though – she sells them in any combo you want. Also I wish I would have thought to move a pair of her lips earrings in the shot. I gifted, like, 8 pairs of them for Christmas this past year. They’re the cutest.
A few of her amazing rings. I’m getting into rings finally. They’re so fun to mix and match.
A few delicate necklaces. That slate necklace with the teeny diamonds is my favorite. I think. Well at this moment anyway, hard to choose.
This was not a posed shot. She really did get a call while we were there and I just loved the scene. Her art collection in there is so good!
More pretty rings!
Some framed press.
Inspiration boards always intrigue me. I could have spent an hour just talking about it with her.
Thanks, Jane, for taking me by your studio and letting me share it here. I hope y’all enjoyed the little iPhone tour of one of my most talented friends. You can view the Jane Pope Jewelry online shop right here.
Obsessed with the contrast between simplicity/complexity and soft/bold. It is always fascinating to see the environment that facilitates an artist’s creativity.
I love the vibe of her studio!
