Happy Monday! Here’s a little of my life lately…
We had such a great Mother’s Day weekend here. These two spoiled me so sweet :) I hope y’all had an amazing Mother’s Day as well.
Rainbow Row here in Charleston. Always so pretty.
Here’s Josh and me at the Southern Living Magazine Kentucky Derby party here in Charleston at the Wentworth Mansion. So much fun. I’m wearing this off the shoulder yellow dress and a mini veil because I couldn’t find a hat. And well, I’ll use any excuse to wear a veil.
Been wearing my cross body bag a whole lot. Sorta obsessed. Also my Twine & Twig necklaces. My skirt is old Asos. The crop top is Urban Outfitters. It’s on sale for $19 and comes in a few colors, I love it.
Rickshaw-ing around town with my girl Charlotte! The most fun way to get from place to place downtown.
So happy for beach weather! Two of my favorite beach supplies are these perforated pool slides and one of my favorite beach shirt dresses. By the way did you see my beach supply list that I posted yesterday?
Loving my bracelet stack from the Shine Project. They employ inner city youth to make the jewelry, helping the kids raise money for college. Also, wearing this stripe shirtdress and lace up shoes.
The Farmers Market is back at it and we’re pumped about it! Figured it was a good excuse to use my fanny pack. ;)
You may remember I wrote about Insider’s Weekend here in Charleston. I went on the tour of beach homes on Sullivan’s Island and it was FANTASTIC! Here’s just a snippet of a few photos scenes – these adorable twin beds…
Lovely painted floor…
That there is a wallpapered elevator back there!
Pretty fireplace situation
More pictures with my kids. I’ve been trying to be better about this! I’m wearing that gauzy pocket tee that I wear all the time.
Southern C Summit came to town and I (along with my pal Hanna) co-hosted the parties at Hampden and Croghans. It was such a fun time!
And I got to make some new friends at the Summit too, like Whitney from Grace Graffiti.
One of my daily outfits (I want to be better about sharing more of these) – black sandals, white jeans, pom pom basket, stripe linen top, and tassel necklace.
Found Lilly being all cute reading (Peanuts!) to her dolls. Isn’t her necklace darling? Her jersey jumpsuit, too.
Shopping scenes – in love with both the navy dress and that pink print shift! I mean, more flamingo prints please!!
Kitchen scenes. The peonies look pretty but they smelled sorta funky :( Whhhhhyyyyy!
My scalloped lace shirt – it comes in black now, too.
Spent three days in Dallas for the Rewardstyle blogger conference. So much fun to see some good friends :) From left – Grace, Liz, Me, Hanna, Jamie.
Wore my stripe skirt one of the days in Dallas – such a great piece! And my friend Deirdre makes the coral rice beads necklace that I’m wearing! Lilly picked out the teal color to give to her grandma for Mother’s Day.
Shoe packing line up…
Here’s my yellow dress again! Love it so much that I’m contemplating getting it in the white. What do you think? Overboard? It’s just so fun and easy. Wearing with my goldie strap heels.
Alright, had a enough of me? Thought so. Have a great Monday morning!
xoxox!!
Oh wow, what a nice comment to read, Ava. Thank you. First I’ll admit that I take about a 100 and hope one turns out. Ha! I always laugh at the day Josh (my husband) sees my photo stream account and sees that the one picture I posted was actually 1 of 78 photos and the rest were horrendous ;) Gray could certainly attest to this. Sometimes she uploads the scary ones for me just for a laugh.
I also find that natural light and no flash are important. That’s why I rarely post night time photos… And a genuine smile, I guess. I love to smile. Hope that helps!
Well that just made my day! xoxo!
