Managed a happy little photo for Mother’s Day! They even smiled nicely.

 

 

I spent 48 hours in Chicago with my friend Liz. She’s one of my most favorite people, and I love Chicago, so it was the perfect short getaway. We stayed at the Langham right on the river and it was exquisite. Funny story, upon check in the woman who lead me to my room said “Hi I’m Chassidy, follow me”. I was like whaaaaa. So crazy, I never meet other Chassitys.

 

 

The first 20 years of my life were spent in the midwest and I always thought I’d end up in Chicago (until I discovered Charleston). It’s such a nice and friendly city with a great vibe. We went for long walks, shopped, ate at some great restaurants (EMA, Summer House, and the cafe at Restoration Hardware), and just caught up.

 

 

Julia and Thomas were in town too so we spent a good bit of time with them and stopped by the Gal Meets Glam party at Nordstrom. Below I’m wearing this floral dress and Liz is wearing this blue floral dress.

Lastly, guess who’s getting glasses! It’s time. I have one eye that is much stronger than the other so I finally got it checked out and sure enough… Looks like I have one more accessory to start collecting, ha! (red polka dot dress and stripe straw tote)
