Last night I stopped by an opening party for a new store in downtown Charleston that I’ve been anxiously awaiting, Novel. You might be familiar with the ladies that joined forces for this venture: Lauren Lail of Library, Archives of Fashion, Jane Pope of Balboa Jewelry, and Way Way Allen of Blue Chickadee. I say “new store”, but really it’s not. Novel began as a pop up shop, and has now found a permanent place.
I was greeted by this lovely lady who served the most delicious little open face style cucumber sandwiches (she saw a lot of me).
The whole store is painted white which really shows off all the items.
I adore this red dress. And do you spy the lucite clothing rods? LOVE.
Oh I’m loving the pink/purple tutu inspired skirt! so sweet! x
Do you know that I am totally living vicariously through you? :)

Is it funny that my favorite part of the post is the grown woman in a pink tutu??? I just love it! Oh that I had the courage to don whatever I felt like and strut down the street! I always think it’s amazing when women are so fearless in fashion (c: Happy weekend, my dear, enjoy it!
