Like I mentioned on Tuesday I got this drapey shift dress in 2 different colors. One of which is this pretty mauve!
It’s the perfect day to night and anything in between sort of dress that I’ll happily throw on any morning of the week. And at only $64 it’s super easy on the wallet and doesn’t feel too precious.
I love pairing different shades of the same color, so I really like it with these coral d’orsay pumps (also available here) that are only $69!
Fringe clutch obsession. Makes any outfit infinitely more fun. Get this for only $79! Also, I got my cuff on Harbour Island so unfortunately I can’t link it :(
This dress looks great belted, too. I wore it like this a couple of nights ago with some girl friends.
And my necklace is by my new friend Elizabeth from Twine & Twig! We met in Harbour Island and had such a great time together. I love these necklaces a ton. They come in turquoise, too, and wouldn’t they look incredible if you piled on a whole lot of them?
mauve shift dress, cream fringe clutch,
coral d’orsay pumps (also avail here),
wrap belt, off white layered beads
Moral of the story, buy this dress and your morning self will thank you when you pull it over your head after rolling out of bed. Also, the coral pumps (also available here) are a pretty dope purchase, too.

Hi Kelley, thanks so much :) So no, surprisingly it doesn’t wrinkle badly at all! I took the belt off after dinner (too many chips and quac) and it was fine!! I was shocked! And the other color is like a dark blue-ish/charcoal. It’s great! I really like that stone color too.
I need this dress for an upcoming vacation! Two questions, does the fabric wrinkle like linen? Also, what was the other color that you purchased? I like the stone color, but my coloring is similar to yours, and I’m not sure if it will look blah my skin tone. I’m new to your blog, and I LOVE it! Wish I’d found you last year before we visited Charleston, your shopping and visiting guides are great!
Hey Emily. I got it on Harbour Island in a little boutique, sorry I can’t link it :( Thanks for stopping by.
Hi!
Where did you get your bracelets?
Thanks Jillian. Those flowers on that tree are freaking amazing!!
Thank you so much Gaby :)
You’ll love it!
I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed. ANd if by chance it doesn’t work now it’s worth saving for right after you have the baby :) You’ll be able to wear it right away and it’ll feel like a night gown!
Thanks homie :)
Cute!!!
couldn’t pass this one up – just ordered! i’m kind of chancing it with a baby bump but i’m SO over maternity clothes. fortunately i’ve been able to make some non-maternity shift dresses work — crossing my fingers this one works as well!
Perfect. Yea, I like that it looks a little roomy. Just ordered, so cute.
Gorgeous, you look gorgeous in pink!!! And I love how the dress looks belted!
Adorable! I love your soft pink dress in front of the pink flowers!

Hey Aena, thank you so much for this sweet note :)
Awww thanks sweet friend!!
Haha exactly! Thanks Kendra!
Hey Samantha – I’m in a small. It’s roomy (which I want in this sort of dress) so if anything I would say it runs a little large. Hope that helps! I’m usually a 6.
What size are you wearing? Does it run true to size?
I love this! Just as easy as pulling on yoga pants, but so much more intentional. haha
Love love love love love this look!
Absolutely love your posts! They’re always so interesting. You’re style is so super unique – I love it! x.
Love from Dubai,
Aena
