I got another round of MircroNeedling last Monday, I try to do this every 3-4 months, and learned something new and important that I feel the need to share….
So at the end of the treatment, Austin (my girl at Skin Pharm) says something along the lines of okaaay you’re a little more red than normal. Are you on your period by chance? And indeed I WAS on my period. Turns out, when you’re on your period, increased vascularity make your skin more sensitive and reactive. Meaning, microneedling can cause more pinpoint bleeding and redness than usual. Or any needle based treatment like botox, prp… So now, not only do I have to attempt to schedule around a quiet schedule (for downtime), but also around my period as well. And let me tell you, I was seriously banged up this time, so I’m definitely going to try to avoid going during my period again. I hope this saves some of you. Here I was hiding my face but trust there was drama behind the phone.

Wearing: knit baby tee sweater XS, white barrel jeans 26, wine woven flats, baroque pearl rolo necklace LLL15, pearl choker necklace, tortoise cuff CHASSITY15, mansur gavriel tote
Started the new season of The Morning Show this weekend and binged both 2 episodes that have been released. Gosh I’ve missed this show/world. All of the characters are SO good. Billy Crudup’s character is addictive, like I can’t get enough of him on the screen. I love that so much of it is inspired by real current issue and events.
I just splurged and bought these. I know. I know. They’re coming with me to London, and they run true to size.
I’ve been living in these lounge pants (aka my house pants). I have them in black and grey. Trust. The fabric is like magic. I wear the XS.
I really love these lip resets, they’re also called overnight masks but I like the tinted on (shade – cosmic cherry ) so I wear during the day.
Started House of Guinness over the weekend, too. I like it. I don’t love love it. But I’m sticking with b/c I feel like it has all the potential to be amazing. And I love that it’s based on a true family and (some) true events. I’m horrible with accents so I definitely need the close captioning on.
I wore these M.Gemi black flats downtown yesterday on King street and no 4 different people ask me about them!! I mean! I love them too and they come in so many colors, run tts, and I have a code too – CHASSITY15
Dorsey just dropped Moisonette. An even sparklier lab grown Diamond like gem. They’re just getting so good you guys, what will this do to the diamond industry? Are you still die hard diamonds? Like, would you buy a $9k real diamond necklace when there are identical lab grown versions of it for $1500? I really want to know. I’m not so sure I would.
October hits this week which means Halloween season is here, which I love. Our neighborhood goes ALL freaking out, it’s so fun and festive. I love these pumpkins for your porch, or inside too! And at least these would last year after year.
Dying over this gorgeous necklace newly arrived on At Present’s site. If you’re not familiar it’s like a Shopbop but for jewelry. I love it! Code – CHASSITY15
This new half zip fleece from Varley is so gorgeous in this pretty pink. Seriously go look.
I’ve almost finished The Academy, Elin Hilderbrand’s new book that she wrote with her daughter Shelby. I’ve absolutely loved it. It’s such a fun fall read taking place at a prestigious boarding school. It’s based off Shelby’s own experience at St George’s (but they’ve created a fictional school called Tiffin), including some real life beef they had with the headmaster. Highly recommend!
I got such great feedback from the post about my red light mask so I wanted to include the link to the discount code again – CHASSITY10!
Early Access Shopbop is live and here’s an early peek to my Sale Faves – I have these boots in black and they’re shockingly comfortable, loved seeing these jeans in there, and yesss La Ligne sweaters are included STOCK UP!
And finally last week’s biggest seller by you guys! They’re true to size I have the XS. They’re so flattering and versatile, I can see why they are so popular!
