Happy shopping, Everyone!! For the first year ever I’m almost done with my holiday shopping! Or at least 75% done. This never happens I’m so thrilled with myself.
It’s here. For the first time ever, I put up a Christmas tree and started decorating before Thanksgiving. It kind of makes sense for me to start all of my Holiday prep this week while it’s quiet! As soon as Thanksgiving hits it’s always a race to get everything done so I’m glad to have some of the decorations and gifting supplies handled! Walmart is the best spot to start prepping for less, too! I found the cutest outdoor decorations this year! I hung these white Moravian Aurora Star Lights on our porch and I LOVE them so much.
These Star Lights fold up so they’re easy to put together and also store for next year, too! They come in different sizes and would be so lovely to hang in a group in a tree! They also come in various color options! I just love them so much.
I also stocked up on wrapping supplies from Walmart, too! My goal this year is to wrap each gift as soon as I get it, rather than waiting until the end to wrap it all at once like I usually do. Walmart has tons of cute gift wrap sets at affordable prices.
Christmas Tree Genie Stand: I talk about these every year because they’re life changing, even if for just one or two days! They make putting up and taking down your tree SO easy.
The Home Depot is one of those stores you think about all year round for home upgrades of all categories. But it’s an especially great resource during the holiday season. They have all the holiday decor ideas you could want, including Christmas trees and string lights and fun yard inflatables. They also have some awesome gift ideas for everyone in the family, as well as some great finds for your holiday entertaining! Here are a few of my favorite ideas for the holiday season from The Home Depot!
Pay for 8 wine glasses and get 4 for free with this Riedel Wine Glass Set! You can never have enough wine glasses on hand when entertaining, and this set makes it easy to stock up! If you’re low on kitchen storage I suggest saving the box for easy and safe storage! This makes an excellent holiday gift, too!
This Mirrored Jewelry Cabinet was an early gift for Lilly. It’s been on her holiday/birthday wishlist that she started making back in the summer, lol. There are a few things that make this storage cabinet so awesome. First it can either hang over a door or mount on your wall. We hung Lilly’s on the inside of her closet door so that it’s out of the way but still very easy to access. Another great thing about it is that the exterior full length mirror is a touch screen LED light! This is such a fun detail and great for make up application. I also like that it is equipped with a lock so you can safely store valuables. It’s really spacious with smart storage space, and it’s lined with velvet to protect your jewelry from scratches. It’s an awesome gift idea for anyone who needs a little glamour in her life, or a little organization!

My new Le Creuset 4.5qt Classic Oval Cast Iron Dutch Oven is on special today only at QVC for only $219.98! It’s the perfect excuse for me to re-share one of my best recipes that I shared probably 12 years ago! I still get messages about my White Chicken Chili. It’s a house favorite and it’s so easy to make. And nothing produces a better batch than cast iron, so I’m thrilled about my new Le Creuset!
Fun fact, Le Creuset’s US headquarters is here in Charleston so they’re a big favorite around here! This is my 4th piece. They’re so well made and are really easy to cook with. Plus they’re especially gorgeous! The special value price on QVC is good for today only so you probably shouldn’t sleep on this deal. There are 10 gorgeous colors to choose from! The Dutch Oven shape is perfect for slow-cooking, braising, roasting, baking and more. And it’s oven-safe as well as dishwasher-safe!
Like I said above, I originally shared this white chicken chili recipe probably 12 years ago. It’s so popular that people still message me about it. It’s so easy and so delicious that I decided to share it again!
WHITE CHICKEN CHILI RECIPE:
1 T EVOO or Butter
4-5 Garlic Cloves
1 t Ground Cumin
1.5 t Ground Oregano
1/4 t Cayenne
3 C Shredded Cooked Chicken (I use Rotisserie)
(1-2) 4 Oz Cans Chopped Green Chilis
(2) 2 Oz Cans Great Northern Beans (drained & rinsed)
6 Cups Chicken Stock (I like Progresso)
2-3 Cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
Heat up the evoo or butter over low to medium heat and saute the garlic. Add the chicken, chilis, and spices. I usually let this all hang together for about 2 minutes or so. Next, add the beans and the chicken stock. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 1.5-2 hours. Remove from heat and add the cheese. It’s ready to serve, and is great with even more cheese on top!
