Good morning!! Today I’m sharing our family room progress so far! I really love how it’s coming along!! We are still missing a few pieces like some window treatments (coming in about a month and I can’t wait to share but picture Rebecca Atwood fabric) and a coffee table (I’m still on the hunt for the right one), but what we do have in place makes me very happy! Many of these pieces came from our old house, but there are some new additions I’d love to share!

Our new rug is from Annie Selke, which is really where I get most all of my rugs! I love their designs for every space whether I’m going for color or a neutral. Since we have the green sofas in this room I wanted to neutral rug to ground the space. This Ojai wheat cotton rug is perfect because it adds a subtle pattern while not demanding too much attention. It’s from Annie Selke’s collaboration with Mark Sikes and it’s my fave!! Isn’t it gorgeous?!

Another new addition to our family room design is this Visual Comfort Alberto Chandelier from Circa Lighting. It comes in three different sizes and I went with the large single tier size. It also is available in 4 different finishes, I have the Plaster White. I love the dimension it adds to the space.

I would eventually like to move this navy grasscloth credenza to another wall in the room and place two upholstered chairs in this space. Something fun with a little pattern! One thing at a time though! I’m happy with where we are right now and just living in the space to get a feel for what works best!

I’ve found the most fun new things for home to freshen up every space to feel new and special! Starting with my new green and white The Stripe x ChappyWrap blanket that my friend Grace designed for her new collaboration that launches tomorrow!! The collection consists of 4 blankets – they’re all stripes in the prettiest colors. I think they’ll sell out fast so I suggest being quick tomorrow. You all know how much I LOVE ChappyWrap blankets!!

Chappywrap x The Stripe blanket

luna nesting dish set, tray set, blue birds art,

blue spec mug, rattan fringe console table, white mug set,

white stab pot, Grace Coddingham book, colorful dough bowls,

Susan Hable yellow abstract art, rattan bench, blue diffuser,

scallop rug, blue cutting board, white nightstand

Everything please. Those colorful dough bowls are freaking insane I love the way they look filled with complimentary fruits! The Grace Coddingham coffee table book is so pretty on the inside and fun – a great gift, too! I love the blue flowers and birds art piece. And cute is that scallop rug?!

Nothing zhushes up my house easier than flowers. And nothing is easier than faux flowers. And these Bloomr faux orchids are my fave. I recently put mine in a Lindroth scallop liner and I’m loving the look! And if I could fill my home with more of these blue grasscloth credenzas I would.

Here are some more fresh objects for around your home for a new, fresh year!

Seafoam Abstract – I love the clean colors in this piece. So calming.

Cordless Dyson Vacuum – If you’ve been thinking about it this vacuum then you have good judgement because it really is that good and just makes regular quick clean ups so much easier.

Handheld Steamer – I havne’t tried it myself but the word on the street is that this is the best clothing steamer you can buy. Small enough to just keep in your closet for quick wrinkle jobs.

Boll & Branch Bedding – My fave. Hands down. Trust.

Acrylic Tray & Drawer – A solution to all the messy papers that liter your countertops.

Semi Matte Paint – Perfect for those DIY jobs you’ve been thinking about but putting off.

Faux Bloomr Orchid – I promise no one will know the difference.

The Beast Blender – For your new healthy resolutions AND pretty enough to live on your countertop!

Canned Jars – Is it finally the year to organize and prettify your spices and cabinets??

Floor Lamp – Brighten a once dark corner and change the mood of the room. Entertain, or read a book, or watch a show, or surf the web in the glow of your new lamp. Yeah this is one is a bit of a stretch but I love it.

Throw Pillow – I just found this pretty pillow in Serena & Lily’s brand brand new arrivals this morning. Love all the color options.

Line Abstract – Alright, flowers, pillows, AND art – my favorite ways to zhush up my house!

I’m on a roll of working out and the way to keep the ball rolling is to make it fun. For me that involves pretty clothes, fun accessories, and switching things up. Here are some favorites to give the mundane a little oomph.

blue zip up, tennis racquet, boxing gloves, white sweatshirt,

bala weights, scrunchie sports bra, cardio kick bag, white sneakers,

seafoam leggings, high waist underwear, long sleeve tee, the mirror

First thing’s first basically all of the apparel shown come in more color options, but that blue zip up is perfect as is. I have the white cropped sweatshirt in black and am actually wearing it as I type. And I haven’t seen a sneaker brand blow up like the On sneakers have in a long time. I haven’t tried them yet but they must actually feel like a cloud for the way people are buying them. And last but not least, new year new undies anyone? Thought so.

I’m absolutely thrilled to partner with one of my most favorite sites EVER, The Avenue, for a blue and green holiday tablescape that will withstand the test of time and suppers of all seasons. I designed this tablescape with my favorite things from The Avenue’s gorgeous collection, and seeing it all come together is a literal dreamy dinner come true. And The Avenue has shared the code CHASSITY15 for you to take 15% off your sitewide purchases (excluding Damaris Bailey dresses, I’m sorry!!)!

The minty seafoam green floral Cabana plates are literally the prettiest plates I’ve ever laid eyes on. I love them paired with the blue woven bloom Cabana placemats.

The blue hand blown Saban glasses are my favorite drinking glasses, I have them in two colors!! They’re magical when the light hits them.

Perhaps my favorite thing about the tablescape is the khaki colored Sabra flatware. I’ve eyed Sabre flatware for so long and I can now personally vouch for their amazingness. They look so good on the table and they feel so good in the hand. They have an impressive weight thanks to their acrylic and stainless steel composition.

And isn’t the little pop of marigold yellow from the candlestick holders so fun? This tablescape actually feels like a representation of the colors in my new house! It just makes me so happy.

I have a fun interview over on The Avenue’s blog for their Carte Blanche series! I’m sharing what my fridge is never without, a dream vacation destination, my eternal style muse, my all time favorite shows, my favorite Charleston haunts, and so much more! Read it right here!
