You know you’re getting old when you get really excited about a new vacuum. And judging from my happiness over my new Dyson vacuum, I’m getting old.

But hey, aging is a privilege, and so is having a healthy home. We run our vacuum often over here thanks to Lilly and Fletcher dragging dirt inside and dropping crumbs all over the floor (all-day-long). And my new cordless vacuum from Macy’s, the Dyson V11 Torque Drive Cord-Free Vacuum to be exact, makes the clean up job SO much easier and convenient!! I’ve used Dyson vacuums for the past 14 years of my life and am a loyal fan, and this new cord free one just made me a total devotee.

It has a lot of bells and whistles, but what I love the most about this vacuum, aside from the cord free feature obviously, is it’s super deep clean suction power and that it automatically adapts to different floor types. My home is all hardwood and tile with rugs throughout – and it seamlessly and intelligently deep cleans continuously!

This Dyson vacuum comes with multiple tool head attachments (that are actually easy to attach) and even a docking station for charging! And in case you’re wondering, the battery lasts for up to 60 minutes! It also easily transforms to a handheld vacuum for furniture, the car, and stairs.

Two more bonus features I love: 1) The acoustics are SO much quieter than what I was used to. 2) It’s slim design reaches under low furniture (I especially appreciate this in the kitchen under cabinets and our island)!

Macy’s home section is amazing! And it’s seriously the best destination for a Wedding Registry! Here are some more great home finds! I’m especially loving that Dyson Air Purifying Fan. It captures 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as .3 microns! I need it!

Happy Monday!! Spring has been pretty busy in Charleston so it seems like a good time to do a photo upload of life lately! Starting with Mother’s Day yesterday! We had brunch at Farfalle downtown and it was delicious as always. It was a great day at home with my sweet fam. I feel so lucky for these two!

Last week’s Weezie Towels party at Elizabeth Stuart’s beautiful home! I wore this dress and am obsessed with it!

The poolside party was absolutely exquisite!! Every detail. Weezie towels are incredible and NOW they’re making beach towels!! I just got a custom set for Coral House!

A couple of weeks ago I was in San Fransisco with my Shopstyle team and had such a nice visit, it was my first time there. What a beautiful city, I wish I could have stayed longer and explored more. Must get back!!

I brought my crossbody bag and am obsessed with it!

Meanwhile in Charleston the wisteria and jasmine is blooming and the city smells like Heaven.

Last week I attended Lindroth Design’s new store opening on King Street and the dinner was the most beautiful!! So excited the store is here! Amanda Lindroth’s brand is 100% my style.

Been sticking with my Sweat app workouts and, y’all, the pushups and burpees and sit ups are REAL. Whew.

Eva Chen spoke at the Gibbes luncheon this year and while it was melting hot and humid that day I had a great time. The tent was gorg!! I wore my new gingham heels :) And how cute is this floral instagram backdrop??

We took our inaugural boat ride of the season!

We celebrated my friend Molly’s birthday downtown over a beautiful brunch before High-water Fest! Stopped to pose with Josh’s pretty new car.

At High-water! Always such a fun weekend. I’m wearing Rhode Resort, one of my favorite brands!

Speaking of live music, this past Friday we celebrated my friend Ashley’s birthday on the Isle of Palms and saw the David Higgins Band play at the Windjammer and they were one of the best cover bands I’ve heard in a long time. SO fun.

We’ve been taking advantage of the amazing weather with lots of rides around the neighborhood. This time of year is sooo amazing before the crazzzzy humidity hits Charleston. It’s coming…

Celebrated this pretty momma at the prettiest baby shower! I’m wearing this red floral dress!

Okay you guys, for the past few months I’ve been working on a big project that I’m 99% sure is going to happen but it’s scary and crazy. I can’t wait to share more, but it’s been consuming so much of my time that I can’t help but acknowledge it! This photo below was during one of the design meeting with 42 Pressed! I’m sorry that this is all I’m sharing right now but I promise I’ll share more as soon as I can.

Easter selfie at my neighbor’s gorgeous home!! Wearing this blue floral maxi dress!

Lastly, I had an amazing day on Kiawah with Chappy Wrap blankets! They’re a new to me brand and now I’m wondering where they’ve been all my life! Obsessed. More pictures of this day to come, but for now check out their blankets here :) Trust me, they are amazing and you will be addicted.

I hope your week is off to a great start! I’m en route to Coral House Harbour Island with some girlfriends this morning, so excited to be back! I’ll be posting on my instagram so follow along there :)

I hope you all have an amazing Mother’s Day weekend! I’m looking forward to spending the day with my family, fingers crossed it includes cheesecake!

Today I’m going with a Flashback Friday theme because I just stumbled upon the pictures from this day and they make me so happy. Strawberry melamine dinnerwear is my friend!!

Melamine dinnerware is outdoor and kid friendly, and it’s come a LONG way as far as designs and patterns.

As promised and not a day too soon, here are 10 amazing gift ideas for the moms in your life!

50 Things About My Mother Fill In Blank Book:

How amazing is this 50 Things About My Mother book? The pages are beautiful and the themes are so fun. I’m pretty sure this would make 100% of the moms out there so happy to receive. And ps, there’s a Father’s version too!!

Literally Anything From True Botanicals:

And I mean it, anything from True Botanicals. I’m a devotee, and there isn’t a product of theirs that I’ve tried that I haven’t loved.

Jane Pope Jewelry Fingerprints Jewelry:

I love everything that Jane Pope makes, especially her custom pieces. Did you know that she makes custom fingerprint necklaces?! So sweet to do with your children.

Spring Flowering Cactus:

Now these are my kind of flowers. This cool flowering cactus is unique, just like mom :)

Lake Pajamas:

Because mom deserves to RELAX. These are my favorite pajamas. And they have so many favorite styles and colors.

Slow Juicer:

Fresh juice for Mother’s Day breakfast in this slow juicer? And it’s even cute enough for the counter!

Silk Pillowcase:

Chances are good that you’ve stalked this silk pillowcase online. Anti-aging, anti-sleep crease, anti-bedhead! Everyone who has it swears by it. And it comes in 10 colors!

Linen Bedding:

Pair the silk pillow case with linen bedding – I’m a convert. SO luxurious. I have this bedding set in the eucalyptus color.

Gray Malin Puzzle:

A puzzle that doesn’t make mom want to stab her eyes out? And it’s two sided!! Family game night just got a little cooler. That sounds so cheesy. But you know, Gray Malin IS cool.

A New Basket Tote:

Because moms can never have enough totes and a new bag is always a good idea. This basket tote is chic as hell, because your mom isn’t like a regular mom, she’s a cool mom.

Happy hump day! Today I’m sharing 10 things that have recently caught my eye :) From new beauty products, to new art finds, to the random…

COOLA SUNLESS TAN ANTI AGING SERUM:

A sunless tanner that is also an anti aging serum?? What is this sorcery?!! Seriously though, I’m a user of Coola products (they’re fabulous) and I really can’t wait to try this one!

NEICY FREY’S ABSTRACT PAINTINGS:

I’m loving Neicy Frey’s new soft and neutral abstract paintings. The colors and organic shapes are so enchanting.

LIBERTY FLORAL PRINT:

Liberty’s colorful and casual florals always grab my attention and bring the happiness, and I love this easy drawstring dress!

THE FOOD THERAPIST BOOK:

Lord knows I have a few bad habits I could break (ahem plowing through 10 servings of any given chip & dip combo). Has anyone read The Food Therapist book? Gwyneth Paltrow says its “an invaluable roadmap for anyone hoping to make healthy changes that last”.

YUZU SHOWER TABLETS:

Now THESE make sense to me! I just don’t take that many baths, even though I love them, and these quick and easy aromatherapy tablets for the shower are much more convenient for a spa-like splurge.

THIS AMAZING DRESS:

This dress is juuust about perfect – the gorgeous coral color, the fit and flare shape, the swingy skirt, the sash belt, and the ruffle cap sleeve. It comes in white, too!

CARRIE FORBES RAFFIA BLOCK HEELS:

I can pretty much never resist Carrie Forbes sandals, they’re my favorite shoes!! And aren’t these new criss cross block heels amazing?

THE GOOD PATCH:

Has anyone tried La Mend’s The Good Patch collection? They’re hemp & plant based, organic, and safe patches used for wellness and health. I’d love to try the period patch!

THIS SLIGHTLY CROPPED TRENCH JACKET:

This trench jacket is lighter and shorter for spring and the length is bound to be flattering for all the petites out there (raises both hands to be seen). I love the pretty pink, but it comes in a classic khaki as well!

CHERRY PRINT SHIRTDRESS:

Um, how cute is this cherry print shirtdress?? Freaking adorable, that’s how cute!!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new rug for our family room for a while and I’m so excited that I finally found it while searching through Annie Selke’s new arrivals! Our new Senna Rug makes me happy! I went with the ivory/camel color way and I like the neutral pattern it brings to our room.

We have a  lot of Annie Selke’s Dash & Albert rugs! I love that there are so many patterns that come in multiple colors and all different sizes.

Wearing:

black gauze top, light wash jeans, similar white mules

And here are a dozen more adorable rugs to bring a little color or pattern (or both) to your home!

5     |     6     |     7     |     8

9          10     |     11     |     12

This indoor/outdoor stripe rug is one of the best rugs ever, we have them all over Coral House. Great price, lots of colors, machine washable. We also have this rug in our bedroom. And Lilly has this one!
