Good Monday morning! It’s a whole new way of life over here for my fam because my kids are officially back “in” school, along with masks and alllll the antibacterial gel. We are all excited about this change, the kids missed school and, truthfully, learning on a computer for 7 hours a day isn’t overly fun. So! That’s us, hopefully you all are happy with where you are in the school situation, too.

Today I’m sharing some Amazon finds for home, outdoors, your closet…

This jute area rug comes in a couple of sizes and is a steal!

It’s back porch around a fire kind of weather time and this whole seating set comes WITH the concrete fire pit AND is a shockingly good value. I would zhush it up with these pillows (currently on sale) and no one would know any better.

Now that you’ve got the fire pit how about some campfire roasting sticks? Mmm s’mores, as long as you’re not in the catch the marshmallow on fire and burn it club. That’s just gross.

A timeless black shift dress is always a good idea. Cute with sneakers or with heels.

How cute are these colorful kid size airbeds? Just $16 and they don’t take up the whole floor space.

These woven bamboo basket trays are really versatile and there are tons of color options and are a steal!

How cute are these “feline floral” pajamas?!

It is widely accepted knowledge that everything is better in a collection. Alright maybe not everything. But how fun are these acrylic display cases?!

How about a really cool vintage rug for $126?! This shop has a great selection!

White sneakers are what I sort of live in once it gets too cold for sandals, and I love the pink and maroon color combo of these sneakers!

Like I mentioned last week, I’m very into contemporary sectionals right now. Clean and simple!

This Amazon tassel throw is a total look-a-like of my throw from Serena & Lily, super cute on a bed, sofa, and cozy by an outside fire!

Speaking of staying warm outside, patio heaters are an especially hot ticket item for 2020! Makes sense, we’re spending more time at home and you want to use all of your spaces. Good for entertaining too.

And we’re ending with this moroccan market basket that could be used for anything. Shopping tote, beach basket, storing basically anything including firewood or towels or toys… you get the idea.

Have a great Monday, Everyone!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends this Sunday night, so there are only a few more days left to take advantage of up to 50% off essentials before prices go back up! Today I’m focusing solely on Nordstrom Made brands included in the sale, because these brands have something for everyone in the family and possess that perfectly casual vibe – which I think is what we are all after this season. Plus as far as value goes, it doesn’t get much better than Nordstrom Made – most of the pieces featured in this post are well under $100!

Let’s start with every day casual style! How amazing is this coral hooded utility jacket?! I love it, and the hood is removable! And the black drape collar knit blazer is adorable and comes in a whole range of colors. That striped chenille turtleneck sweater looks super soft and cozy, and it would be so cute and simple paired with those blush pointed flats! And a long knit cardigan is always a staple in my closet – I throw them on with loungewear, over jeans or dresses, and over my workout clothes!

And speaking of active wear, in my personal opinion Nordstrom Made Brands especially excel in this department. These Zella cropped leggings are lightweight and made with a moisture-wicking fabric! Doesn’t it feel amazing to put on a new fresh pair of leggings?! I have this cozy grey top and it is seriously the softest and one of my most comfortable things that I own! It’s nice for walks in the neighborhood and yoga type of exercise (or just lounging around the house). A light zip up jacket is great to have on hand for when the temps start to dip! And a simple cozy scarf is an easy way to make a casual walk in the neighborhood look a little more chic. This one comes in a lot of color options. And here’s this drape knit collar blazer again, super versatile! I especially love the creamy half zip fleece jacket!

I know I’m not the only one who thinks kids look adorable in multiple layers. Everything you need to layer up your kids is up there! I always get a new full zip hoodie for Fletch every fall. This washed out t-shirt has a really cool vintage look and it comes in two other colors. And this thermal front tie top is so cute and cozy without the bulk!

You can shop the entire Nordstrom Anniversary Sale right here! And check out more of the Nordstrom Made brands right here! Also, another fun way to shop is to look at the Best Sellers section of the sale!

Don’t forget that Nordstrom offers free shipping and returns, BOPUS, contactless curbside pick up, and safe and easy alterations! And if you join the Nordy Club you’ll gain exclusive perks and access and gain points on all of your orders! You can learn more and sign up for The Nordy Club right here!

Back to School looks a lot different this year. With so many questions up in the air all that we can do is be flexible and as prepared as we can possibly be. With all of this in mind, I’m really excited to partner with eBay to highlight their refurbished laptop selection! As learning environments change, so do our supply needs. Binders are out and laptops are in. And there is no need to buy brand new – eBay’s huge selection of refurbished laptops are guaranteed good-as-new and a much better value!

We chose a refurbished HP Chromebook because it’s what the kids are familiar with at school and is very reasonably priced. This laptop has all the bells and whistles they need, but isn’t distracting like their iPads they already have here at the house.

One bonus of at-home learning is the ability to switch up your “classroom” throughout the day, every day. My kids like to switch up their atmosphere and keep things feeling new, and a laptop makes this easy. Like taking the zoom meeting on the front porch swing bed!

Or studying with your friends (virtually) on the green sofa in the family room.

And taking a yoga break in the sunroom.

Or taking gym class on the spin bike! They can follow their friends and take live classes together.

And music class practicing their piano skills on the keyboard with a lesson app on your laptop!

Don’t worry, Lilly has an actual desk, too! This is where she chooses to do most of her school work. By the way, how fun is that jellyfish lamp? Lil and Fletch both have them and they use them every single day. It’s like a pet, but no hassle – my favorite kind.

The discounted price of eBay’s certified refurbished laptops (up to 50%) paired with the peace of mind that they have been tested, verified, and come direct from Manufacturers make eBay the place to go. They offer a 90 day warranty and a hassle-free money back guarantee. Check out their selection right here!

How great is that ipad/cookbook stand?? It would look beautiful kept out on your countertop. And i just ordered some of those reusable stasher zip bags – my friend Haskell just brought them to Pawley’s Island and they were basically the best thing since sliced bread. You can boil them, freeze them, put them in the dishwasher… they’re great for school supplies or anything really. And how cool is that indigo lion watercolor?! So pretty! We’ve been making a lot of charcuterie boards lately, and those basket weave knives and spreaders would be the prettiest touch.

I hope your week is off to a great start! By the way, Serena & Lily’s newest arrivals are prettttty great – check them out right here! I especially love this accordion screen!

TGIF!! Happy weekend, Everyone! For those who started back to school this week I hope it all went well!! We still have a few weeks of summer laying before us. We plan to go out on the boat this weekend and try to soak in some rest, too! I wanted to share some of my recent purchases that I’m reallllly into right now!

Excuse the wrinkles, I unpacked this new smocked dress and immediately threw it on and snapped this picture. SO CUTE!! It’s from Amazon and only $32 and all the colors are restocked. How cute is this daisy embroidery?! And here are my drop earrings!!

I’ve wanted to learn how to play the piano all my life (my mom and granny can play and mom didn’t put me in lessons because she kind of resented having to go to lessons all the time as a child). But at the age of 38 I’m finally making it happen and am so excited. I ordered this Roland Piano Keyboard and it has Alexa built in!! It’s amazing. I’m going to take lesson via a few different apps (if you have any suggestions please let me know). Lilly and Fletch want to learn, too. Supposedly. Regardless it’s so much fun to have!

My favorite glassware, these wrapped Lindroth glasses and they’re nearly 50% off right now! My dress is Bell.

You guys, RMS’s new tinted lip moisturizer is the best thing ever ever. The Peacock Lane color is my most favorite, it’s like magic.

This Brightland olive oil is the bomb. It’s made with high quality ingredients and tastes amazing. It’s super pretty (I love pretty branding). I keep it in our kitchen and also an extra bottle on hand for gifting!

A new school year means a new planner for Lilly. We got her this 17 Month Planner and it’s just the cutest. It comes with a lot of stickers and look how fun this sticker self portrait page is!! In case you’re wondering it begins August 2020 so it’s the perfect time to start it. See also, my sweatpant joggers.

I’ve shown this poplin pajamas set before but they’re so comfy and cute that I’m sharing again :)

And again, I’ve shared this underwire bra before but it’s worth mentioning again because I’ve been wearing it every time that I have to change out of my favorite bralette. It cuts low enough in the front that it hides perfectly under low cut dresses and tops, and it’s pad and molding free!

Have a great weekend, Everyone!!
