Last week was a crazy and confusing week, but it all got even weirder over the weekend, don’t you think? It’s like all of a sudden it really sunk in what we all needed to do. Our school has moved to e-learning from home for the next two weeks, and I expect that will be extended. We are hunkering down to flatten the Coronavirus curve and preparing for a long stretch of time ahead of us. Like I mentioned last Friday, my blog will continue in much the same fashion that it always has – a light hearted break for your day. So today I’m sharing 10 ways to improve your isolated weeks ahead.

Let’s just be honest and admit that TV will have a legit role in making it through the day. If you’re looking for a great show I highly recommend Good Girls. I’m also loving Single Parents, The Bold Type, and the latest season of Outlander!

There will be many family activities and board games are always a favorite for my kids. I love Scrabble the most! Scrabble Junior is a great version for kids, too!

I’m making an effort to focus on good choices. Getting a little more active and exercising. Going for long walks in my neighborhood. Getting fresh air. This swingy asymmetrical top is new and adorable, and Lululemon leggings are comfortable for (let’s just be honest) all day long.

Like I mentioned my kids will be e-learning from home the next 2 weeks (at a minimum). In addition I plan to have reading time every single day, and Kindle Kids makes it so much easier for kids to find a book that they love and removes the “we don’t have any books I like” excuse! Plus it comes with access to thousands of popular books!

One way I make time for myself is a long walk with headphones and either music or a podcast. Bose headphones are my favorite and I’m just so sad because I left mine on an airplane on our way home from Mexico in January. I ordered these headphones because they had good reviews and are only $70, and they’re FINE, but just not at all as good as the Bose headphones. If you’re looking for a good new podcast my friend Claire just launched an amazing one called Dabble! Check it out!

In my quest to stay active I’ll be using my Obe Fitness app! It is the best app and has all sorts of different workouts and it’s just really so fun. If you use my code CHASSITY30 you get 30% off of your first month!

I’m planning to replace a few of my breakfasts and lunches with juices to help make sure I’m getting all of my vitamins and hopefully curb some of my snacking habit! BluePrint is available on Amazon (thanks Whole Foods) and can ship right to you in 2 hours!

I’m the type of person who loves to cuddle up under a blanket on the couch all year round. These Chappy Wrap blankets are my most favorite – I have one on each couch in my living room.

These Olly vitamins are vitamins that my kids will actually take! They really do taste good – all while providing not only essential nutrients, but also live probiotics!

And we’ll end with what I will in all likelihood spend a GREAT deal of time in the next few weeks – my Lake Pajamas. They are THE comfiest and cutest pajamas ever. I hope you all have a beautiful, happy, and healthy Monday.

Interrupting a wild (and at the same time very slow) Saturday to share that J.Crew is having a huge sale right now – 50% off sale and 30% off site wide – so I wanted to pull together some of my favorite pieces for the fam (sorry I left out the men).

Lilly has this cute striped tank and Fletch has that rainbow stripe shirt. I love that green stripe shirtdress! Those woven ballet flats are pretty much the cutest. And they’re not pictured above, but how adorable are these sandals for kids?!

Shop J.Crew right here (don’t forget to use the code GOSHOP), and hang in there folks!

Sponsored by Every Man Jack

I spend a lot of time talking about clean beauty for women, but what about clean and responsible products for men? Well I am very excited to have the opportunity to partner with Josh’s favorite, Every Man Jack. I first discovered Every Man Jack during a shopping run to Wholefoods. The products are also carried at other stores such as Target, CVS, and Walmart, but they’re flying off the shelves! I tend to stick to Whole Foods, at it is my own personal barometer for safe beauty and wellness.

Every Man Jack is a line of men’s grooming products that focuses on clean ingredients. They use as many naturally derived and plant-based ingredients as possible, and their products are made in the US and bottled from 50% post-consumer recycled content. They are paraben, phthalates, and cruelty free, all while effectively working and delivering exceptional performance. That is if you remember to use them. If not then hopefully you, like Josh, have a pre-teen daughter not above calling you out and “subtly” reminding you.

Every Man Jack’s line of products include grooming staples for body, beard, shaving, skin, hair, and of course Lilly’s favorite, deodorant. Many of us are rethinking our own routines and trying to make smarter and safer choices in 2020, and Every Man Jack is an easy and assessible way to help out the men in our lives!

Every Man Jack recently launched their subscription box program, and right now through March 18th use the code “LOOKLINGERLOVE” for 30% Off Site-Wide + Subscription 1st Order! The subscription box program includes free shipping and free samples as well!

Rethink your routine and check out all of Every Man Jack’s products right here. Our most favorites include the SPF Face Lotion, the Sandalwood Deodorant (it’s aluminum free btw), and the 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner (Fletcher uses this, too)!

PS: Let’s all give props to Josh for being a part of this post. The fact that he is in these photos should say all that you need to know about how much we both like Every Man Jack! And don’t forget to use the code “LOOKLINGERLOVE” for 30% off site-wide + first subscription 1st order!

Stocking up on hand towels is always a good idea for bathrooms and kitchens so that you have have a good supply for rotation. I haven’t tried the Bad Air Sponge but the reviews are phenomenal! Pretty plants help clean your air while also looking good. And I love that simple, white paper towel holder.

Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing my first Amazon round up of the year, and I think it’s a good one! :)

This Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree is gorgeous and only $80! Bonus, it even ships in a planter! I love plants in a basket, too.

Finally, a food carrier that isn’t ugly! This thermal casserole and food carrier keeps food hot or cold, it comes in a lot of different colors (I also love this red), and there is even an adorable round pie/cake carrier version as well!

This Floor Length Mirror is both floor standing and wall hanging capable! I love this walnut one, but it comes in a lot of colors and finishes.

Okay I finally watched the short video about the Ring Video Doorbell and I have to say that I’m feeling it. You can actually chat with the visitor at the door, and see video footage of porch activity! Check it out here.

Maybe I’ve been under a rock and surely I’m not the only one, but did you know that this Fitbit Smartwatch has ALEXA built in?! I know.

These Bamboo Toothbrushes are perfect to have on hand for all the last minute sleepovers that inevitably happen with kids! Plus it’s a better option for the environment.

This Dyson Pure Hot Cool not only heats and cools the air, it also purifies it! It removes 99.97% of pollutants and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. I don’t know EXACTLY what this means but it sounds pretty effective to me!

So this Jute Rope Woven Doormat is classic and beautiful and only $22! Yep!

So this Dyson Airwrap has been on my wishlist for a while now. About a year, to be more exact. It actually dries your hair all while smoothing, curling, or just adding a little wave to your hair!

When we were in Harbour Island over Thanksgiving we met a family who had one of these Beach Tents and we saw them set it up a few different days and it was so easy and quick! It’s anchored by filling the bags with sand – so simple! I’m ordering one to keep at Coral House. There are a lot of different colors and patterns but I’m thinking the coral color is the right choice.

This Eero Wifi System covers 5,000 square feet of Wifi access! And it can pair with Alexa so that you can easily manage Wifi access for kids!

How adorable is this Fleece Popover Sweatshirt?! I’m all about relaxed and cozy clothes right now and this one is so cute!

Have a great weekend, Everyone!
