Gift Guide: My Vera Bradley Tradition

Today’s post feels extra special to me because it’s all about nostalgia. Do you remember the first brand that you collected that you were excited about? Mine was Vera Bradley. My friends and I collected the many different patterns and colors of Vera Bradley duffel bags, totes, and cosmetic bags. When one friend would get the new pattern, we all needed it. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone. There is so much to feel thankful for, and this is the perfect day to tell you how much having this little space and all of you means to me. I’m so very grateful to each of you for reading my ramblings and stopping by each day. Thank you!

This is our Christmas card this year. I worked with the artist Evelyn Henson and Dixie Design on a whole Charleston Citrus Collection of paper products. I love how it turned out, especially the little reindeer tags. Dixie Design included me in their tastemaker interview series and you can read that here if you’d like to hear all about my holiday traditions, go to hostess gifts, childhood dreams, and more :)

Family Room Update: Grasscloth Console

I recently partnered with one of my most favorite stores, Dear Keaton, to help me find a console for our family room. I liked the table that we had there before, but it didn’t offer any storage. I searched for a LONG time. And when I laid eyes on this Merida Grasscloth Credenza I was in love.

Awkwardly standing next to a piece of furniture because I loved it so much. This pretty lacquered grasscloth is amazing quality.

The Merida Grasscloth Credenza comes in 4 gorgeous colors. I debated for awhile over the brown credenza but eventually decided to do a little color and went with the blue!

Aren’t these cabinet ring pretty?

We finally have a place to store our dvd’s (yes we still have them) and blankets. Ecstatically happy with this piece. It’s so versatile that it could go anywhere!

And yes, that’s a new plant right there. My fiddle leaf fig days might be over, too many deaths. Here’s hoping this Birds of Paradise THRIVES. I’m really feeling her.

Dear Keaton’s online collection is seriously one of the most beautifully curated collections I have ever seen. I have to warn you though, you’ll want to re-do your entire home when you browse the site… Here are a few stand out pieces that I love.

Gift Guide: For Kids Part 1

Today’s Gift Guide is the most fun because it’s for the kids. It’s full of incredible shriek inducing ideas (24 of them, to be exact). It’s so good you guys.

12 SHRIEK INDUCING IDEAS:

Gingerbread Dollhouse – This makes me want to be a kid again. This company has the most gorgeous dollhouse collection!!

Green Wagon – Great for playing around the neighborhood, storing toys, and taking to the beach. Bonus, it’s gorgeous.

Gymnastics Monkey Bars – Every girl’s (and boy’s) dream. When Lilly saw this she said “I want that!”!

Piano Tutor – This is adorable, and it actually helps your kids learn how to play and is app-connect capability! So cool!!

Basketball Set – A sturdy, adjustable basketball set for $50! It’s weather resistant and easy to use!

Blue Fiat Ride On Car – Oh my Gosh. Have you ever seen anything SO cute?? Even I want this.

Light Up Scooter – This comes in so many colors and how fun that it lights up! Kick scooters are my kids’ favorite things!

Round Ball Pit – This comes in a lot of pretty colors and the kids would just love it! Fun ball color sets, too!

Tent Climbing Jungle Gym – This is a play house and play set all in one and can be easily set up in the back yard!

Play Kitchen Set – So pretty that it might put my own kitchen to shame. I definitely wouldn’t mind having this set up in my house.
