I hope you all had a great NYE. We had some friends here and took it pretty easy. The kids all had a blast together. And yesterday Lilly and I caught up on all the new Fuller House episodes. We LOVE it. Anyone else?
Like many, at the beginning of each year I set some goals for myself for the year ahead. It’s a good time to sort of check in and evaluate yourself. My list of goals this year is extensive, with the desire to be a loving and present mom, wife, and friend at the top of my list. And in an effort to not bore you all too much I’m sharing just a few “mini-goals” for the year.

Merry Christmas, Everyone! We are with family in Kentucky and Indiana, hence the delayed Christmas post. We’re having a wonderful time and the kids are having a blast with their cousins, it’s so nice to get to see everyone.
We took this photo over Thanksgiving on Harbour Island. Lilly found this branch and planted it and soon decided it was a Christmas tree. It seemed the natural Christmas card choice.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you who read my blog. What started as a hobby in 2010 has become an even more important part of my life than I ever thought it would be. Sharing found favorite things makes my heart the happiest. Thank you for reading.

Our front door dressed for the holidays. I have a thing for plaid doormats.
We had our annual Christmas party this past Friday. I never do a good job of taking photos throughout this night for some reason. I do have this on my camera roll from right before it started and am so glad we took the time to snap it. I’m wearing this new black wrap ruffle dress and you can’t see my new sparkly earrings I’m wearing but trust me they’re SO fun, check them out here. Also, I mix pom pom garland with my garland.

Josh had a birthday and we celebrated with a night at the Dewberry Hotel. The kids helped me decorate the hotel room with balloons and it looked so good. We had friends meet us at the lounge bar there because the hotel is dressed to the nines with the most amazing holiday decor right now. Such a fun night. We went to the spa the next morning and it was amazing as well.

My friend Molly hosted an amazing night with the founders of La Ligne NYC. The two blondes seated met while working at Vogue and left and started their brand devoted to stripes. It was a lovely, inspiring night and a lovely collection. I especially love this sweater.
Poms on my plaid toes. Also a plaid vest. And speaking of sweaters, this one is amazing.
I love Charleston this time of year, there are so many fun things going on and great excuses to get out to my favorite local shops. This was at Candy Shop Vintage with Deirdre and Elizabeth. My coat is Kate Spade and my gold crinkle leather heels are here!

And finally here’s a picture from an amazing afternoon at Out of Hand with sweet friends and the founder of RMS Beauty. Rose-Marie gave us all her tricks and did our make up and it was such a fun day. My favorite RMS items that you HAVE to try – the Living Luminizer, the Lip to Cheek Color, and the Volumizing Mascara.
