Had so much at the Trunk Club anniversary party here in Charleston. Pictured here with my friend Jillian who just moved to town! My dress is from Tuckernuck, wearing Trademark mules, and my denim jacket is this one. Isn’t that floral wall pretty?
October in Charleston looks good.
I chopped my hair. And by chopped I mean just about 2-3 inches, but it still feels like a lot. Wearing this lipstick (in beloved color).
I spent a weekend in NYC with my cousin Wes. It was so much fun.
This is his cute apartment, I’m always intrigued by NYC apartments. There’s my pink Rimowa suitcase.
This is Wes. And these are my new earrings I bought while in town.
Cutest restaurant right by the apartment.
Gorgeous NYC home of Brooke Shields. Wes lives right next to her!
And I loved these pretty oval tiles. I’m wearing these sneakers.
You all know how much I love True Botanicals, right? They came to town and threw an event last week – I was so excited to meet the founder! We made wreaths, too! Here I am with my friend Charlotte.
And with Gray and Lauren….
Last Friday by friend Anna came over with her little girl Margaret. The kids love having a baby around.
Taco Tuesday with my friend Lucy.
Okay, isn’t this chandelier amazing? This is at Kate Stevenson’s new home. I was dying over every inch of the place – pretty much my dream home.
This past weekend we went to a dinner party at my friend Lauren’s house with a last minute halloween theme. I decided to bring this favorite instagram filter to life…
I really wish I would have taken the time to get better pictures of it because you really can’t tell how sparkly and fun it was. I wish I could wear it everyday.
You can shop my polka dot dress right here! Shoes here and rockstud bag here :)
Happy Tuesday!
Everyone’s favorite home store, Serena & Lily, is having their Friends & Family sale right now! 20% off everything – making it the perfect time to spruce up all of your spaces.
My wishlist includes this fun rug, this wall sconce, and this moroccan tuft throw. And just how amazing is this sofa??
Shop the Serena & Lily site right here – and don’t forget to use the code “HAPPYDAYS” for 20% off of your purchase!
Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays. The weather in October is generally really great here in Charleston and I love seeing all of the houses dressed with spider webs. The best part is seeing my kids faces light up over costume discussions. It’s a topic they pretty much never tire of. We still haven’t made any final decisions over, but here are some really great ideas courtesy of Amazon Prime!
Lilly’s year of being a gumball machine was my favorite of her’s yet. It was the same year that Fletcher was an ice cream sandwich and it was preeeeeettty much the cutest.
Shop all of Amazon’s adorable (and affordable) costumes right here!
Apparently my life has been so busy that I’ve forgotten to even share a life lately post since July. I mean, I’m not really that busy. It’s weird because these posts are some of my most favorite to put together, I just forget how fast time goes I guess… Anyway, here’s a bunch of camera roll photos since late July!
I had so much fun at the Henry’s Hard Sparkling yoga event at the Dewberry.
It was such a pretty day and the doors were thrown open. When the really hard yoga started I stepped out to take some pics, ha!
Similar pair of my working out leggings here.
Metallics for fall – obsessed with these heels. So comfortable, I would love them in black, too. Also, I’m wearing this floral dress and this cylinder bag :)
Little crystal bee earrings by my friend Deirdre!
We spent a week in Asheville at the Grove Park with my whole side of the family (about 25 of us). It was such a special week all together! Below, I’m wearing this dress. I LOVE the colors, but it comes in grey as well.
The kids had so much fun together. Pretty funny that these girls all have the same Gap swimsuit!
In my favorite dress at the Grove Park ;)
Pretty Charleston…
At a little party at our house – some of my most favorite people in the world right here.
Card shopping at Mac N Murphy – where the selection is ALWAYS amazing.
Trying out the Hello Fresh meal kit! So fun.
Had a girls river trip with Lilly – she and Farris had so much fun on the boat, jumping off the dock, and just goofing off.
Oh, here we are at the Pitt St bridge for the eclipse that happened in August. What a neat experience!
I got these pink satin mules on sale, and you still can too :)
At the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser here in Charleston. Dress is from Tuckernuck.
When Irma came through Charleston. Unbelievable – but overall our city was so lucky.
I’ve been logging a lot of hours at the soccer field. Both the kids are playing this year and are loving it.
Just blending in at Gray’s house. Isn’t this portrait gallery wall cool?
Neighborhood scene…
With dear friends celebrating that pretty gal in the middle’s birthday.
Mountain trip near Asheville about 2 weeks ago. It was still quite warm but we had a great time. I brought our new game Utter Nonsense and you guys… it was SO much fun. If you like Cards Against Humanity then you’ll love this one.
And my most favorite pair of shoes this season – these Trademark mules!
Happy Thursday!
