How is it August? Like, where did summer go? I can’t believe we are already back to school shopping. Summer has been so wonderful for our fam and it makes me sad how fast it has flown by. Both Lil and Fletch will be at the same school this year – I have two middle schoolers!! And the rubber Birkenstocks are an annual staple here at our house – they’re Lilly’s faves.

My Summer Faves

When I think of summer I immediately smell sunscreen, I picture a pool, and I can taste something off the grill (ideally a cheeseburger). I also picture a lot of beach towels. Can you have too many beach towels? Not at my house you can’t. I feel like I’m constantly throwing them at my kids and finding wet ones all over the place. Walmart has such an awesome summer collection of cute things that are super affordable! I stocked up on beach towels, my favorite sunscreen, and a new lemon print dress!

This vinyl beach tote is one of my favorite Walmart finds ever. It comes in more colors, too. And there’s my not so secret sunscreen fave. The Supergoop Glow gives the nicest little shimmer, very subtle! I don’t travel without it!

Like I said I stocked up on a bunch of cute beach towels. These checkered towels are so pretty, I got both this pink version and also the blue version. And then I also ordered this 4-pack of stripe beach towels in the mixed color option.

And how cute is my lemon print dress?! It’s under $40 and I’m in a size medium.

A big yes to the striped jute rug. So good. And this pink gingham dress is really cute and easy. And this shoulder tie midi dress is a no brainer it’s that soft gauzy cotton fabric that I love so much.

Today’s list of new Amazon finds and favorites are all perfect for summer! If you have littles then this water slide would be so fun and gets amazing reviews and can be at your house this Friday. Just saying.

It’s what all of his friends live in, too, they wear them like shorts. But if you need some basic khaki shorts too Fletch wears all the shorts, as well. The set of 6 rattan round placemats is under $30 and such a steal! We have the waffle blanket and also this sheet set and guys TRUST. Especially the waffle blanket in the summer. And Amazon’s new smart air monitor is really pretty cool and it works with Alexa.
