Good Monday Morning! We are back home from our week on Amelia Island. We had such a great time with my family – about 30 of us. So nice to all get together every year. This was our first time visiting this location. We loved that it was so close to Charleston- it’s only 4 hours and was easier to drive than fly! Here are some scenes…

Father’s Day family pic :) I wore my new tie front white dress (currently on super sale).

(Fletcher’s in this floral shirt and Lilly’s wearing this blue dress.)

It’s not often that I get to spend Father’s Day with my Dad. Here we are with my brothers.

I was more into the pool selfie than Fletch. By the way, we could barely get the Babiator goggles off of him all week – he loves them!

My new Marysia blue bikini, my favorite See sunnies, and Loeffler Randall sandals (currently 50% off).

Family :)

Since we were able to drive down the kids insisted upon bringing their Micro Kickboard scooters. They had so much fun cruising all over the resort. So cute.

We all stayed at the Ritz Carlton on the island, very pretty. It was so much fun making s’mores at night!

I lived in these Loeffler Randall luminescent sandals.

The kids with their cousins. They all play so well together, makes me so happy to see.

Another new Marysia suit that I brought along- love the cap shoulders on this one.

Beach night. My Ace & Jig dress is the perfect beach dress.

Another scallop bikini under my Lemlem coverup. The bikini is this one and it’s actually my favorite out of all of them – definitely the most supportive.

The quality isn’t the best on this picture but this is my sweet Granny who makes the trip happen every year. This was our first year without my papa and he was missed dearly.

On our way home Saturday we stopped by Carolina Cider Company on 17 near Beaufort, SC b/c I just can’t drive by and not. We picked up a pie that we devoured for breakfast on Sunday.

In other news, how about the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriages?! I’m so happy. We celebrated Friday poolside with daiquiris. I love this “LOVE” print. #LoveWins.

My favorite Troubadour dress is 45% off right now!

So, I don’t know how I got along before without this new metallic cooler bag. So easy for beach and pool days.

Like mother like daughter, Lilly digs pom poms, too. Especially on breezy white tops that go with everything.

Edit: Please keep Charleston in your thoughts and prayers after last night’s tragic shooting at a downtown church. So senseless and sad. Praying for peace for the families.

Did you know that this Sunday June 21st is national Wear Your Lilly day? As in Lilly Pulitzer. You’re probably not surprised to learn that my Lilly loves Lilly, because duh. It’s even spelled the same. So this a holiday she’s especially pumped about.

Lilly also likes ice cream. Any other locals love Beardcat’s on Sullivan’s? The chocolate chip flavor is our favorite, as seen here :)

Isn’t her little LP blue shift dress adorable? She regularly comes downstairs in it. We’re heading on a family vacation soon and she’s already announced that it’s her best Florida dress, ha!

lll_streetstyle_lillyp-3

My yellow dress is Lilly Pulitzer, too. And it goes perfectly with my summer white La Mer wrap watch.

How’d I get so lucky to have such a sweet girl?! I’m grateful every single day.

Good morning! Getting this post up a little late this morning after traveling this weekend and getting in late last night. I had so much fun in St. Louis! What a beautiful, laid back city. Gray and I gained a total of about 50 pounds from trying out all the restaurants :)

I’m wearing my pink high low lace dress up there. Here’s some more of my life lately!

Stopped in at Indigo & Cotton for some Father’s Day shopping. It’s my favorite store for guys here in Charleston.

My new KAS blue and white dress – love it!

Went to the Spoleto finale out at Middleton Plantation last Sunday. So much fun. My friend Anna was whipping up flower crowns on our ride out there :)

Artist Mallory Page came to town last week and had an art show. Love her pieces!

More pool chaos. I sorta feel like a lifeguard these days just constantly scanning the pool.

And the perfect stripe tote.

I’m always on the look out for awesome clutches that aren’t insanely priced and when I saw these new fold overs at GiGi I nearly jumped. It’s the best fold over that I’ve seen yet.

So these knotted rope earrings (on major sale) and this printed dress – really into them both.

Late last year I enlisted the help of my good friend Olivia Brock, of the fabulous blog Lacquered Life and founder of Torrance Mitchell Designs, to help me find the perfect shade of pink for my front door. Olivia is an historic preservationist, color guru/expert, and spectacular eating/drinking buddy here in Charleston, and I couldn’t help but abuse our friendship for a little help :)

front door

You might remember my door used to be a minty teal color. I liked that color, but I had wanted pink all along. When we took on our home project nearly 4 years ago it was a big renovation (gutting and adding on), so there were many, many decisions to be made. I had to pick my battles with Josh, and fighting for the pink door just wasn’t worth it.

So back to the point… this past November I showed Olivia a picture of a door that I loved and asked her to figure out what the color was so that I could just simply copy it. She found out what it was, but she also knew that it had been faded in the sun and that we could find a better shade for my home (lighting and shade of white on our brick…). She recommended Benjamin Moore Old World.(2011-40)

She also helped me find a new mailbox, love this white one!

Big hug to Olivia for helping me with my front door :) I love the new color!

Hi! A little bit more with my HP Sprout this morning…

LLL_sprout-21

So while working on a recent favorites post I had some fun scanning in some favorite J.Crew pages from the latest catalogue. Because who doesn’t love a J.Crew catalogue. And who doesn’t want pictures of a J.crew catalogue. I mean, I guess maybe some don’t want that. But not me.

LLL_sprout-10

LLL_sprout-4-2

Because like I said before, taking pictures with this thing is sorta addicting.
