When I think of summer I immediately smell sunscreen, I picture a pool, and I can taste something off the grill (ideally a cheeseburger). I also picture a lot of beach towels. Can you have too many beach towels? Not at my house you can’t. I feel like I’m constantly throwing them at my kids and finding wet ones all over the place. Walmart has such an awesome summer collection of cute things that are super affordable! I stocked up on beach towels, my favorite sunscreen, and a new lemon print dress!

This vinyl beach tote is one of my favorite Walmart finds ever. It comes in more colors, too. And there’s my not so secret sunscreen fave. The Supergoop Glow gives the nicest little shimmer, very subtle! I don’t travel without it!

Like I said I stocked up on a bunch of cute beach towels. These checkered towels are so pretty, I got both this pink version and also the blue version. And then I also ordered this 4-pack of stripe beach towels in the mixed color option.

And how cute is my lemon print dress?! It’s under $40 and I’m in a size medium.

A big yes to the striped jute rug. So good. And this pink gingham dress is really cute and easy. And this shoulder tie midi dress is a no brainer it’s that soft gauzy cotton fabric that I love so much.

Can you believe that Father’s Day is this weekend already? I’ve partnered with Walmart to share some great gift ideas for the Dads in your life. Josh got his Father’s Day gift early this year because I wanted to share it. We’ve been thinking about getting an Ooni Pizza oven for over a year and now I’m wondering what took us so long.

There are a lot of Ooni pizza oven models but after EXTENSIVE research I liked the reviews on the Ooni Karu 12 pizza oven for our fam. It cooks with wood or charcoal and has an optional gas burner attachment, which we added! It cooks your pizza in under 2 minutes and is literally the best homemade pizza ever. I recommend getting a pizza peel and some hardwood lump charcoal! It’s not shown but we also bought this pizza peel as well so that we’d have two.

One other thing that we are going to order is a pizza turner so we can more easily rotate the pizza while it cooks. If you’re stuck on ideas for Father’s Day then seriously consider an Ooni Pizza Oven, I can’t recommend it enough!! A couple of first timer tips, sprinkle the pizza peel with cornmeal to keep the dough from sticking. Regularly turn the pizza while it’s baking to get an even cook. And unlike our first try, go lighter on the toppings to help keep the dough from getting too soggy!

By the way I’m wearing this pink stripe dress. It has a fun strappy back and is just really easy for summer, and it’s only $39. It comes in a blue stripe version as well! And I love these raffia flat sandals. I keep them in our mudroom and Lilly and I share them – she wears them a lot!
