Weekend Round Up

How goes the weekend? We’re having a great one. Yesterday was full with a neighborhood 4th of July parade, then the beach, then showers and naps, then dinner and fireworks. We’ve been doing a lot around the house today. Thought I’d sneak in a post, too. A weekend round-up of sorts of things that I’m liking. (this image is clickable, just scroll over what you like.)

Totally gaga over all the Madewell new arrivals – love those skinny sweats and also this poncho dress and this caramel bucket bag that is much less $$ than others I’ve been seeing around. And my girl Michelle’s Fink Dolls are having a pop up on Nordstrom right now! So exciting so be sure to check that out!

Lilly Likes: Afternoons with her bestie

We recently met up with Gray and Farris and I couldn’t help but share some pictures of the two of them together.

Not even kidding, y’all. Okay so Lil brought her new favorite book, Ballad. She and Fletcher are both obsessed with this book and request it all the time. The illustrations are the prettiest ever and it’s full of mystery. It’s actually quite thought provoking and I highly recommend it!

I know I’ve mentioned in a prior post but Lilly’s sandals are available in four different colors. They’re so cute.

Mirrored sunglasses just her like momma . Fletcher wears this pair a lot, too. I actually bought them for him originally but they share. They’re on sale right now.

Two cuties who are really so sweet togther! A lot of times crazy as well. But I love to see them together.

 

PS – Lilly’s top and shorts are from Gap and they’re having a big sale right now for the holiday! A great time to pick up some fun things. We just snagged this romper, too.

Life Lately

Hodgepodge of pictures as of lately. We had friends over this weekend for a cookout and pool time. It started raining before I could complete setting the table though. Well actually not. It just started thundering and got dark, and by the time I had moved everything inside it had passed.

Leon’s Oyster Shop has been open for a month and I’ve already been there 3 times. Everything on the menu is amazing – I love the fried chicken and fish sandwiches. Lilly and her buddy Farris love the ice cream.

If you’re in the Charleston area I highly recommend the Mt Pleasant Farmers Market on Tuesdays. Not nearly as crowded as downtown’s and is a nicely edited collection of vendors.

Naples Vacation Pictures

Photo bomb day. We had an amazing time in Naples, FL. I think I mentioned that it’s one of my most favorite places. I’ve grown up going there and just think it’s really special. Maybe because of my memories of riding bikes through my grandparent’s neighborhood with my cousins. Or collecting shells in the morning. Maybe because of all the ice cream I once inhaled. Or the excitement of being 13 and going shopping with my Granny wondering if maybe, just maybe she might buy me something. All of these memories make me happy and I’ve been feeling very nostalgic for those days. So it was nice to get down there with my family last week. In case you’re wondering, we stayed at the Ritz – we love that place!
