Good things come when we work together. I just wanted to share some major new collabs that are making waves everywhere.

Marysia Swim + Hatch

Marysia Swim teamed up with Hatch for the ultimate maternity swimwear. Shop ’em here!

Kate Spade + 150 Masoro Artisan Women

I won’t repeat all that’s above but this On Purpose collection is good! My favorite? These fabric necklaces (and they’re only $50!).

Shopbop + Born Free

01_Boutique_background_1-0

Last week Shopbop launched their Born Free collection – essentially 100% of the profit from purchases (yes!) will benefit Born Free’s goal to end mother-to-child HIV transmission at birth. Good cause for super cute clothes (kids too). This cover up is my favorite.

Some of my favorite things to throw on Lilly are cute rompers and jumpsuits. I just think little girls are irresistible in them. So when I saw this pink linen blend romper at Old Navy I grabbed it and didn’t think twice. Lilly loves it, too. It’s super soft and she can run and climb and chase around her little brother.

As the weather get’s warmer we’ll roll the pants up more – totally versatile! I love this chambray romper, too!

Good morning! We got home from our Harbour Island (Bahamas) trip last night and I feel relaxed and rejuvenated. A good vacation of little to do but indulge and read good books on the beach is exactly what I needed. Josh and I loved exploring Harbour Island – and saying that we fell in love with the island is putting it lightly. In large part we have The Dunmore to thank for that. We stayed there for 5 nights and it was pure bliss. The beauty, service, the resort design, the amazing people who work there… I could go on and on. It’s very comfortable and inviting and consists of just 13 cottages. Heaven on Earth. I feel like we have a whole family of Bahamian friends now.

I’m happy as a clam here on a pink sand beach in my lemlem berta tunic and kate spade beach bag. Here’s a close up of the sand – it’s unreal!

The Dunmore’s dining room is just as exquisite and inviting as it can be.

What’s a beach trip without some floral cover up pants – these are Victoria’s Secret and are so soft! And of course my Ray-Bans I always wear…  (they’re 25% off now!)

The lobster quesadilla at Sip Sip – amazing.

Island shopping…

IMG_6924

My favorite shop on the island was definitely India Hicks’ shop Sugar Mill. Her friend Stephanie of Figue was having a trunk show and I just loved chatting with them.

I scooped up this dress! In love with it.

Another charming store on the island…

Brought my JOA dress! If they made it in 5 colors I’d buy all of them.

IMG_6998 IMG_6999 IMG_7002

Naturally I had to bring a little bit of Charleston to the beach in form of a few good books by Dorothea Benton Frank on my Kindle Paperwhite.

The “beach bathroom” at the Dunmore…

Hello amazing pineapple fence.

The Dunmore also has a lovely pool pavilion with an exercise area, a massage area, and a lounge area complete with the cutest backgammon table I’ve ever seen. Josh and I loved our daily games.

IMG_7035

And all around the resort you’ll find these swinging chairs – I need some of these here at home, they’re so fun! It’s blurry, but I’m in my smock floral dress.

Brought along my boardwalk tunic dress.

Whew, that was a lot of pictures. Point is – the vacation was amazing and I highly recommend you pay a visit to Harbour Island in the Bahamas if you haven’t been before. I can’t recommend The Dunmore enough – we’ll definitely be back!

Who’s Woo Woo? You probably wouldn’t know it, but Woo Woo is Fletcher. We’ve been calling him that since he was a baby (not sure why) and he even calls himself Woo Woo. It’s pretty darn sweet. So today Lilly wanted to introduce his new series, Woo Woo Wikes. I had to keep the alliteration…

Now I realize these outfits aren’t exactly jaw dropping (and nor has Fletchy quite perfected his “pose”) but Gray came over one day and we decided to snap a couple. Just keeping it real over here with y’all.

He’s warming up. And I actually think he’s pushing Lilly out of the shot here.

A quick note about Lilly’s engraved bar necklace by Jane Pope. It says “Lilly” in cursive and is just the most precious. Her best bud Farris has a matching one.

I think I’m a lucky momma with these two.

Last weekend I had a some girlfriends over for a casual lunch. I kept it super simple and borrowed some wicker trays from my mother in law and held the party on our screen porch. It was pot luck so everyone brought a little something. I naturally went by Hamby’s for little tea sandwiches (I look for any excuse). I mixed up some Firefly sweet tea vodka and used my new Aladdin mason tumblers. It was the perfect afternoon.

The Aladdin mason jars and drink dispensers were cute and easy! Afterwards I just threw it all in my dishwasher. I’m looking forward to using these at the beach and around the pool this summer

Lilly and Fletcher couldn’t resist coming out to party for a little while, too.

Don’t worry, Lilly’s was just water.

It’s so nice to spend a Saturday afternoon with girlfriends. And it doesn’t have to be fancy, despite what pinterest and instagram tell me on a daily basis (I need to remind myself of that). Thanks to Aladdin for helping me accomplish this!

Just a few quick life lately things today…

On Saturday I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Park Cafe with some old friends and a couple new in celebration of Timo Weiland coming to town for CFW. Thank you to Hampden Clothing for hosting the little party, and thank you to Ed Kavish for sending me this picture (so much better than the one I instagramed).

Afterwards I ran by the Proud Mary & Olivia Rae James pop up shop and fell in love with this backpack. Isn’t it amazing?

Meanwhile Josh took the kids to a friend’s birthday party and Fletcher tried to take a tractor home.

Lilly & Fletch got the Pottery Barn Kids summer collection catalog and I found myself jealous of pretend little girls’ rooms and things. PB has totally upped their game. I love this little moroccan side table, all of their new bedding, and THIS peacock chair!!

So y’all might remember how I went on and on about these Sam Edelman sandals. Well I had to have them, they’re too pretty and the price is too good. I love them so much. And how perfect are the Anthropologie x Bauble Bar jewels (necklace here and earrings here).

Oh yeah, I got a rug, too. Hey hey calm down I had some birthday money and we really needed a new rug. Our old one (you can see below this one b/c I was testing it out and still haven’t removed the bottom one) is nicknamed the “rug of pain” b/c it’s so hard and it was impossible to clean. But oh if anyone local wants to buy it email me… ha! So please excuse the non-styled shot. I even spy toys under the table. Anyway, this is the West Elm Torres Rug in guava (comes in black too). It’s pretty much the bees knees and I couldn’t be happier. And in case you’re wondering I’m all about layering rugs but I’m just not digging this combo together. Now I need to get working on hanging some of the art I’ve been hoarding.

Lastly, this morning Furbish is launching it’s first Vintage & One of a Kind sale. Sure to be amazing. Hurry hurry.

Also, did you see my New & Now post from yesterday? I still can’t stop thinking about it. So many amazing things.
