Last week Josh and I co-hosted a 160th birthday celebration with Duck Head, a men’s clothing brand. It was a beautiful night I wanted to share a couple of photos that the photographer Alexandra Andrew shared.
Have a great Monday! I’m dragging a smidge after staying up later than usual for the Superbowl. Game was boring but was thrilled to see Kendrick Lamar play Not Like Us with Serena dancing (Drake’s ex, something I didn’t know until last night), hilarious.
Doing our new and now round up this week with a blue and white focus because that is a STRONG majority of what I’ve been saving. I’m ready for spring. Aren’t we all I’m guessing? I walked to meet some friends for lunch today and it was such a nice moment. I think it’s like mid 60s, but blue skies. Yesterday was mid 70s and literal perfection. More days like these for me, please.
On Saturday night Josh and I went out and I wore this double layer mesh dress. I had worn it in Harbour Island over Christmas and then threw a coat over it here this weekend, it’s totally versatile. I have the size small. It’s slinky and stretchy and super comfy – ten out of ten stars.
And it is TMI for me to say that I feel like my boobs look really perky? I’m wearing my new Negative black triangle bra and I swear it’s amazing. I have it in nude as well. I wear the size small. It’s comfy, too! Negative has become one of my new favorite every day brands!
I truly cannot have too many white shirts. It’s the most classic and fresh look, and somehow when I pull one on it instantly gives me an extra kick of confidence. Last week on Sea Island I wore my new ruffled collar top from Merlette. It has a simple string tie at the waist, and the structure and proportions are spot on. I’m wearing an XS, it runs a little big, and they gave me a discount code to share with you all for 15% off your purchase – Chassity 15 !
I wore these Margaux low heel ballets multiple times over the trip. They feel like flats but have just the slightest bit of elevation! And my jeans are Frame! They run TTS! I always always get compliments on these when I wear them. They’re super soft denim, too!
Good morning! I spent the past few days in Sea Island, Georgia at The Cloister (one of my favorite hotels) for The Southern C Summit. If you’ve been here for awhile then you’re probably familiar because I’ve been a part of this conference a number of different years. I was thrilled to return this year to speak on a panel about working with creators/influencers as well as being a mentor. The 300+ group is full of creative women with brands and businesses and varying creative lenses! Let’s recap all the fun photos!
Ending on my travel outfit! Are y’all sick of me talking about my Kilte cashmere sets? I’m so sorry but they’re the bomb. I wear the size one. And I have this pink collared zip up sweater over it! Also my suitcase is, as always, the Away (bigger carry on size), and finally got to use my heavy duty zippered quilted tote that is SO roomy and as good as I knew it was going to be. Highly highly recommend for travel, it’ll fit perfectly under your plane seat!
I’m constantly trying new products and some are farrrr superior to others (for me personally anyway). Here are 8 of my new tried and trues.
This hydrating lip mask is from the skincare line YSE Beauty by Molly Sims. I put it on before bed each night and it is heavy duty good stuff.
I’ve been reaching for my Salt & Stone body wash every time because the scent (black rose & oud) is like pure heaven. I just want to soak in it. My skin feels moisturized, too! I also shave with it.
While we’re on the Salt & Stone wave I love their deodorant. Works very effectively for me and the fragrances are truly top notch.
I’ve talked about my Roz shampoo and conditioner before but they’re just SO SO good that I’m including again. And the fragrance can’t be beat. And the packaging!! They’re aluminum bottles that can be refilled. Special shout out to the almost empty Goop scalp scrub peeking in the photo.
NEW FAVE DRY SHAMPOO. I first ordered this Briogeo dry shampoo puff because I was intrigued by the application style. It’s a padded puff top that you dap directly onto your head. Guys, this application is far superior to my powder shake can (which I still also love) or any aerosol I’ve ever tried.
Here’s a new beauty fave of mine. This Kosas brow gel applies like a mascara wand and is the best one I’ve tried! Not too dark, and fluffs them up!
Let’s end with one of my favorite new products that I keep in my purse at all times (except for this photo). This botanical barrier rescue balm is from Scarlett Johansson’s new beauty brand The Outset. Sure the tin jar packaging is cute but this balm does it all, which is why I keep it with me at all times. It can be used on your lips, hands, face, body, nails, as a highlighter. It’s EVERYTHING.
