Lilly Likes: Metallic Letters

One of Lilly’s new fast favorites is this marled sweatshirt top. Go figure, it’s so soft and comfy. Pretty cute too. I want this outfit for myself.

And I love how these painted bird red shoes look against the light skinny jeans. They come in adult sizes, too!

If you have kids you must must must buy The Day The Crayon’s Quit. It’s my favorite book that my kids have (yes they love it too). It’s absolutely hilarious and teaches kids about feelings.

Like I said, I want to wear this outfit too. Not so hard to recreate…

Lilly Likes: Vacation Wishlist

I’m not the only one dreaming of tropical getaways…. Lilly is to. Here’ s her vacation wish list. Focusing on ocean colors with a little pink, of course.

Happy Monday! I’m so excited to share a new Lilly Likes street style post! This is one of Lilly’s easiest go to outfits to throw on and run out the door in – patterned leggings and a simple flowy top.

on Lilly:

white swing top, star leggings, peppercorn necklace

metallic loafers, warby parker sunnies (mine)

Oh look who showed up! Lilly’s best friend Farris. These two girls are something else.

on Farris:

neon stripe tunic (lilly has this too – seriously the cutest top!), fur vest (similar)

skinny jeans, red loafers (similar), glitter purse

Lilly: “Hey Farris, what’s in your glitter purse?”

Farris: “It’s full of rocks”.

Duh.

Lilly’s little shimmer loafers slay me.

Of course they talked us into cupcakes. As you might guess, it’s hard to tell these two “no” when sugar is involved.

What We’re Wearing: Plaid & Polka Dots

A little momma/daughter combo street style post for this Monday morning…

on me:

I’m wearing my new plaid/oxford layered dress that I’m in love with. It’s so easy – perfect for running around town with the kids, shopping on King Street, brunch with the girls… The dress is also available here at Matches, there is a gray version here, a really really gorgeous sweater version here, and a tunic dress version here. So many pretty options!

And these snakeskin and metallic leather LR strappy sandals are so perfect. Worth investing in y’all. I plan to live in them.

At this point Lilly was more interested in sitting and playing in the rocks. I think I said “Lilly want to stand here with me for another picture?” and she was all like “no I want to play in the rocks”. Ha, oh well. We’ll win some and we’ll lose some guys when it comes to these Lilly Likes outfit posts. I refuse to be a crazy mom. Soooo you get more of me. Doh! Thanks for leaving me hanging, Lil.

At least we got a good shot of her chambray/polka dot slip on sneakers. These are so easy for her to put on and comfy. I need to go get some of the other patterns, too.

Lilly Likes: Denim on Denim

Lilly’s first street style post… I am so excited about this new series. I have apprehension of course, as a Mother, but I think it’s going to be fun. It’s something I’ve thought about doing for probably 2 years now. Lilly has really enjoyed it so far.

This is really a look Lilly borrowed from me. I wear denim on denim a lot. It’s just casual and easy. Lilly pulls this chambray shirt out of her closet (or dirty hamper) all the time. It’s one of her most favorite tops to wear because it’s so soft and comfy. I love it because it pairs nicely with most anything she throws it on with, be that leggings or a tutu, ha!

Lilly also loves a good arm party (and loves it even more now that she knows it’s called an arm party). The more jewelry the better, in her eyes.

“Strike a pose, Lilly.” This is what she gave us. Sweet girl.
