In partnership with Athleta. Active. Healthy. Confident.

It’s an unordinary day on the blog today as Lilly leads me in yoga. Some things to keep in mind are 1) I don’t do yoga and 2) I don’t do yoga.

But, like most moms, I’m down for anything when it comes to spending time with my girl. And thanks to Athleta we both get to dress the part! Lilly practices yoga at school so she was able to show me a few of her favorite moves. Some I totally nailed (in my mind)…

And some I’m going to have to work on…

Everyone knows that exercising is more fun with a prop (especially when they’re pink).

At this point we’re professionals…

It makes my heart happy to see Lilly enjoy exercise. I want her to know that her potential is limitless, to be inspired to try everything she dreams of. Athleta Girl offers high quality, comfortable apparel with product features like hidden pockets, NEVEREND drawstrings, and chafe-free seamless fabric. They’re collection is versatile and well designed that Lilly can grow with. Plus, they’re leggings feel like pure butter. We are BIG Athleta fans here at our house and I highly recommend you check them out, too!

One of my favorite every day of the week brands, Lilla P, just launched a kids capsule collection called LP Generation! I am SO excited about this. Pauline, the designer of the brand, wanted the perfect little tee for her boys – so she created a unisex line in lightweight slub cotton just for kids!

No surprise, we love all the pieces! The colors are all really pretty and you all know how kids just want to be in easy comfortable clothes. Check out Lilla P and their new Generation line right here!

Lilly has a new favorite kids brand! I love when we find both cute and classic clothing for kids that isn’t mass produced! And Hadley Girl is all that, plus comfortable so Lilly loves wearing it!

linen pippa dress in pink, liberty of london headband

Hello Hadley started out as a bow company (I bet many of you have seen them before). Lilly has some of their striped and floral scrunchies and even I love borrowing them! They’re based in Colorado and the line was started by a mom who wanted cute accessories for her kids to play in. This year they extended their collection to clothing and it’s just sooo cute! Lilly’s favorite dress of all is this stripe peony everyday dress. It’s so cute on! Here are more of our favorites from the collection!

Today I’m so excited to introduce you all to my amazingly talented friends’ new project – Lil Bit Lit! It’s a new type of children’s publishing house founded by these three beauties – Jenny DiBenedetto, Molly Fienning, and Raven Roxanne.

Their mission is to create beautiful, art-forward story books – written and illustrated by awesome Southern artists. They’re first story book, A Raven’s Nest, is a tale of a young girl named Raven and her mischievous dog Willie. Expect to see whimsical, abstract nests and a lot of color by Charleston artist, Raven Roxanne.

But A Raven’s Nest needs our support! I just purchased my advance copy through their Lil Bit Lit Kickstarter! I hope you’ll purchase your copy, too! And you HAVE to watch the video the girls made – it’s beautiful. Check it out right here!

Summer… Lazy mornings, long afternoons in the pool, and scarfing down ice cream cones before they melt. We are officially on summer break and I’m so glad about it. We have some sports, some fun camps, and some travel ahead of us in the weeks ahead, and I’m so excited to soak up all the days with these two.

I’m Wearing:

off shoulder linen dress, criss cross sandals

On Lilly:

gingham romper, knotted denim sandals

On Fletcher:

white linen shirt, red shorts, chambray sneakers

We are wearing ALL Old Navy here. Isn’t Lilly’s gingham romper so cute? They have so many cute dresses and shoes right now! I also have this navy midi dress and love it.

I’m so excited to partner with Framebridge for Mother’s Day! They’ve been my go to for framing for the last 2 years! They’re website is really easy and fun to use (not to mention gorgeous!). And their custom framing is beautiful and high quality! With Mother’s Day less than a month away Framebridge is the perfect destination for special, one of a kind gifts.

Some of my most favorite art pieces in our home were made by my kids. These pieces deserve to be framed! And it makes Lilly and Fletcher so happy to see their art hung on the wall. Framed kids art makes for the best Mother’s Day gift, don’t you think?

There are two easy ways you can frame – 1) Upload a photo from your computer, phone, or instagram feed for Framebridge to custom frame or 2) Mail in your original art and objects for Framebridge to custom frame. They provide free, prepaid packaging!

Framebridge has a lot of handmade frame options to choose from. Just upload an image of the piece you want framed and you can see it in all of the frame options!

I actually find this tool kind of addicting. I love plugging in different pictures and seeing how they look in different frames. I love how this abstract by Fletcher turned out in the Marin Frame.

We spruced up our library area with some new pieces, too.

Lilly made this self portrait with her pastels and I framed it in the Stella frame using a personalized mat saying “Lilly (age 8)”. Loving this new personalizing feature they’re offering.

And this family photo was printed from my instagram feed! It’s actually of a Mother’s Day past and is so special to me. It’s in the Henry frame.

Live life. Frame more. – Framebridge’s motto, and I like it. A few dates to note – Mother’s Day mail in orders deadline is April 22, the digital upload deadline is May 6th! You can start framing right here!
