Happy Saturday! Let’s make the rounds –

What I’m Wearing This Week:

Wearing: pear sweater XS, white jeans 25, turquoise tennis necklace

– I just got this sweater and I have to tell you it’s making me so happy. The color is even prettier in person!

– I got hit with the stomach bug Thursday afternoon (so I guess that would be the low of the week lol) so I’ve been living in my favorite comfy lounge clothes like these sweatpants.

– I continue to get much wear and longevity out of my Tuckernuck Ponte pants. If you’ve been on the fence about these let this serve as your sign.

– This Making Waves mascara is my go-to mascara. I’m on my second tube!

What I’m Buying/Considering This Week:

Wearing: green floral mini dress UK6

– I ordered this green floral applique dress as an option for my cover reveal party and LOVE it. But ultimately decided I need to wear pink. So I’m saving it for something else.

– Another dress that I bought for a potential option for the cover reveal party was this long floral dress. It is SO cute and SO flattering and I’m definitely saving it for something special, too!

– Did you see Tanya Taylor’s new collection? I ordered this dress. I’ve been obsessed with everything of hers that I’ve tried, the quality is so great and flattering.

– I came upon these oversized lattice style picture frames and they come in the prettiest shades!!

– My all time favorite sweater just got a new color and it’s so pretty it’s gonna be hard for me to resist.

What I’m Reading, Watching, & Listening To:

– My sister in law and niece recommended His & Hers and I just finished the 3rd episode. It’s not my usual type of show b/c it does feel dark and heavy overall, but the twists and surprises happen in every episode so I can see how people are really loving it. I’m excited to finish!

– I started Fragile Sanctuary by Catherine Cowles this week and am loving it. Again this is an unusual choice for me b/c its’s a romance suspense thriller. But I am LOVING it. It’s the start of a whole universe set in Oregon, and you all know I love a universe.

– I listen to every Jenna Bush Hager Open Book podcast episode and this week I especially loved her interview with Jasmine Guillory! I read both of her prior books (The Wedding Date and The Proposal) and am so excited to read her latest – Flirting Lessons.

What I’m Eyeing For Valentines:

Wearing: pink flare top XS, pink stripe pants XS, gold heels

– These pajamas yes and yes and yes b/c they’re so freaking cute and a great price!

– I got this pullover for Fletch b/c I love him in pink and he loves QZs right now.

– You all know I love my bose open earbuds and check out this cute collab with kendra scott!

– Found this skirt that has major love shack fancy vibes but it only $40!

This Week’s Highlight:

Wearing: pink flare top XS, pink mini skirt XS, charm necklaceshiny gold slingbacks

This week I finally got to share the title, cover reveal, and preorder link to my debut novel Pink Sand Summer. What a day!! A day I thought would never arrive! My friends threw a little cover reveal party for me and it was so fun to be surrounded by so much love and support! I hope you guys love the cover as much as I do! You can preorder it now!

Under $100 Wins:

– I got a new wireless bralette in the really light pearl shade this week. They just disappear under tops and they feel like butter (I know that term is overused) while being super supportive. I just love them so much.

– I got a DM asking me this after the cover reveal party photos: “Okay how are you this tan in February is this a spray tan? Please tell me it’s a self tanner since I don’t have time for a spray.” Hilarious. And I’m happy to tell you it was indeed not a spray tan. Nor was it a self tanner exactly. It’s my gradual self tanner that I’ve used for awhile now. It goes on more like a moisturizer and builds tan as you use it. I used it 3 times before the party.

– Have I ever mentioned these Blueland dishwasher tablets? I loaded the dishwasher right in the middle of sitting down and writing this post so it’s on my mind. They’re the best and plastic free and come in a tiny compact tin! I’ve been using for at least 6 months and love them.

– These double cloth cotton trousers are super cute, and have a comfy elastic waistband.

The kids went back to school today, I know parents everywhere are rejoicing. I was talking with a friend recently, a mom of younger kids, and discussing how things shift as your kids get older. I’m at that weird and wonderful parenting phase where school starting is no longer a massive relief. When my kids were younger I really really craved a routine. But now at 16 and 14 they’re more like mini adults who are fairly easy and fun to hang out with. I mean, I’m still very much in a parenting role (and in many cases I think it’s even more important to be present now than when they were younger), but I don’t need the break like I did when they were younger. Does that make sense?

Anyway, cheers to all of you out there breathing the sigh of relief. I’ve been there.

Let’s dive into some new things. Like my new casual jacket I just got that makes me feel 15 years younger when I wear it. Paired with a sweater I got maybe 4-5 weeks ago that I’ve already worn 4 times b/c it’s that good.

Here are some more new arrivals on my radar!

This blue printed dress is absolutely adorable and is from Tuckernuck’s brand. It feels like something you’d find on Moda Operandi. Donni silk track pants have been restocked. So cute with sweater now and with tees this spring. I shared this blue stripe shirtdress on my stories and it was super popolar. It’s adorable.

I ordered this jacquard jacket top so fast! It’s another piece that looks like it could be $2000 but is under $200. I’ll wear it as both a top, and open as a jacket.

Happy Tuesday :)

I tried to get this post up yesterday but the site was glitching out on me, but I think it’s for the best b/c some of the new arrivals are so good today that I swapped a few in here! Let’s go!

December always brings a contrast of new arrivals – cute pieces for holiday events, cozy warm pieces for the new year, and new resort arrivals for beachy vacations. We have it all in here today.

I got that crochet dress and it fits like a glove, bringing her to harbour island with me! The necklace is coming, too. How fun is that jacquard knit long jacket?! the green sweater and skirt set is absolutely gorgeous and I love the brown version of it, too. The cozy fair isle coat – super cute! And I love that periwinkle blue fuzzy sweater, too.

I think the overall theme here is cold weather color! I’m always drawn to happy colors and prints, they really can affect my mood. I included a couple of resort arrivals for anyone else taking a warm weather holiday!

argyle sweater, patterned shirtdress, velvet flats, fair isle sweater,

feather trim top & skirt, plaid mini dress, brown sweater, green floral top & pants,

high waist barrel jeans, blue sweater, green printed dress, stripe sweater

These new jeans are HIGH on my list right now, I wear Mother the most of any jean. I’m 5’4 so I’d order the petite version. The color of this sweater is absolutely gorgeous. These new velvet flats – I mean, SO cute with sweaters and jeans. This gorgeous green printed twill top and pants set just arrived and this would be absolutely stunning for holiday themed events! And if you’re looking for a great sweater under $60 I love this one. Lots of colors.

I also wanted to show this outfit bc it works for so much and is great for long travel days since it’s super comfy. I know a lot of us have holiday travel ahead, so wanted to share in advance :)

Also of note, my carry on suitcase that I use everytime I travel is 25% off right now – all of Away’s suitcases are included. These make a great gift.

navy capsule top and matching navy kick pants, the bigger carry on suitcase 25% off right now, quilted medium zip top tote

I wore this downtown yesterday afternoon and you guys this sweater just makes me feel cooler than I am. I can’t point to why. But I love it. I have the XS.

Been thinking about caro’s beef ragu recipe she shared this past week and all the ways you can use it. Looks amazing.

Props go out to Julia for this Amazon find. She had these at her little birthday gathering last weekend and they’re legit the prettiest paper napkins and marbled paper plates I’ve ever seen. I got the green marbled, too!

A little random but I just reordered the Jupiter anti dandruff shampoo for the 3rd time and wanted to share it’s the best if you or your kids have dandruff. They rebranded so it looks like this now. This photo is actually the conditioner which is cool too but it’s the shampoo we really love.

I’ve been reading a lot a lot. I think you all know I loved Conform. Also enjoyed If It Makes You Happy and Exit Lane.

These are my new pajamas and they are so cute and so slinky soft. Obsessed with the cornflower blue rattan print. Even Lilly complimented them.

I started All’s Fair last night and I’m not too far into the series but it’s pretty entertaining. Is it the best show of all time? No. But very worthwhile if you’re looking for something fun!

Okay these diamond wedges are pretty much my winter season dressy heel. They’re so freaking pretty. My dress is old and not available right now :(

I’ve gotten lots of requests for lilly’s holiday gift guide, and I’m happy to say she started really diving into this the last two days so it’s coming in the next two days probably. But in the meantime I can assure you that these Parke sweatshirts are on there. Lil has 3. All the girls love them. And they love them oversized. Lilly likes the L/XL size. I know they’re not cheap but they’re guaranteed to be happy.

This is kinda random but if your skin is also freaking out with the colder weather change like mine has been, i swear by the skinpharm recovery lotion. Austin sends me home with this jetset pack after microneedling b/c it’s just so great for sensitive skin and has lots of moisturizer, so i always have some on hand. But she told me to use it anytime my skin is just acting up or needs extra love. It’s amazing.

Here I am in my big, warm and cozy down puffer coat. I have the XS. Also that’s a cashmere shirt underneath I love that too.

Speaking of cozy I came upon this cute sweater on nordstrom and it’s beautiful and only $60. More colors, too. I just keep coming back to this, bc sometimes Nordstrom especially nails a piece. And this is one of them.

Ending with this photo with girlfriends Kensey, Jillian, and Monica last week. I’m wearing this floral dress (size 2) and you can’t see the sleeves here but they kinda make the dress. It’s 75% off right now! Also these red heels and this leather jacket.

Guys don’t forget i’m updating my Holiday Hub Page daily! I especially love My Favorite Gifts.

A fast read today I’d say.

Yesterday was a really fun day kicking off the Charleston Literary Festival with breakfast at the Swordgate House celebrating Jenna Bush and Ariel Sullivan! Now through next weekend there are so many amazing talks happening at the Dock Street Theatre. Here’s the schedule!

I wore one of my Sloane dresses b/c they’re the best. Also this bag and these heels.

Some favorite comfy clothes, these airessentials joggers, this long sleeve tee, these suede shearling slides, and my cozy socks.

And how adorable is this zip fleece?

And last night I went to the Charleston Lit Fest party! The theme was Jane Austen’s birthday party. Such a fun night.

I wore this green dress (got so many compliments), and this sparkly bag. My shoes are very old sadly so i can’t share those.

But here are some new pretty shoes. These red velvet flats are from Lilly Sisto’s collab with Viani Milano.

Last week Cabana came to Charleston for a pop up trunk show party and it was so gorgeous. I am a Cabana fan! I love their style, and their magazine-books are gorgeous.

I wore this button down shirt and these high waist jeans and gold heels. also my necklace and my bag.

I got this metallic fringe top (I have the XS and it runs quite small fyi) and these leather pants for holiday time and LOVE them both!!

This is a screengrab from a book update I recorded (sorry for the close up) and wanted to share my sweater b/c it’s like 50% off now. Also I just love this oval charm necklace.

A recent outfit I wore to my friend’s birthday lunch! This espresso long sleeve tee, these jeans, these black flats. And my paracord bead necklace that I wear all the time.

Just got these crystal party wedges!

And finally another jewelry pieces I’ve been wearing a lot are these new moissanite earrings. I got the big size and they’re just so sparkly and so impactful. I love them!!
