Raise your hand if the idea of organizing a family photo stresses you out. Not to bum you out, but the time of year to get on it might be right now since holiday card season is nearly upon us. We don’t take professional family photos as often as I would like, so it’s just really nice to have an updated shot!

Fletcher’s plaid shirt, Lilly’s red sweater, my navy polka dot top

Behind the scenes shot of Charlotte getting the shot of Lilly and Fletch!

When choosing outfits I tend to gravitate to neutral colors, they are always a good idea. I put Lilly in the bright red cable knit sweater since it wasn’t competing or clashing with any other bright colors. And I wasn’t too worried about footwear this time, because I plan to crop them out on our holiday card (but these are Fletcher’s sneakers). Anyway, here is a round up of pieces for the whole family that will be great for holiday cards and all the holiday get togethers!

Those leopard slides are just the most fun but not too over the top. This red plaid tiered top for girls is basically perfect. I keep coming back to it. A henley shirt will get no complaints from the boys and still look adorable. And that cozy button down for the guys is classic, and I especially love that pale mint green shade.

I’m wearing the J.Crew tissue turtleneck in the navy polka dot. Their tissue turtlenecks have been staples in my closet for many years now, I can’t even remember for how long. They look great alone, or layered with another turtleneck, sweater, blazer… AND they’re 30% off right now with the code “SOGOOD“.

Good morning! Today I’m sharing a fall outfit that I wore recently! I’ll admit, I definitely jumped the gun weather-wise, but I’m just ready to start wearing my fall things. I could wear sundresses and sandals all year long but it just sorta feels wrong once October hits, you know? And it’s basically November already.

This light grey cashmere sweater is nice and light but also feels cozy. I like the casual, oversized shape of it! Also, notice the slight white edging detail on the sleeves? A tiny detail but I love it so much!

I’ve been mildly obsessing over all of the lace up boots showing up this fall, and this black pair by Tory Burch is my favorite of them all! They’re comfortable and give serious height at the same time. They have a cool, casual feel, but I’ll be wearing them with dresses, too, just like how they featured them on the website (totally sold me)!

I’ve had this Chanel bag for a couple of years now and it’s seriously one of my all time favorite bags ever. I totally know that Chanel is a big splurge, so I found this look a like for WAY LESS.

Wearing:

lilla p grey cashmere turtleneck sweater,

tory burch black lace up boots, madewell skinny jeans,

chanel blue leather quilted bag (and a look for less here),

More is always more, so here are 9 more sweaters perfect for layering right now!

That adorable peplum sweater is 20% off right now. And that navy tiered cardigan is freaking amazing don’t you think?! And I will never not love a swingy asymmetrical cut sweater! I hope you all have a great Tuesday!

I found the cutest dress to wear this fall for all the every-day activities. This blue floral button front dress by Lilla P is the perfect basic that feels special and luxurious.

This dress is made with crinkle cotton gauze that is so comfortable! The best part is it’s lined to avoid sheerness. I’m wearing it now with loafers and sneakers, and it’ll be cute later with boots!

And yes it has pockets!!

Lilla P has been one of my favorite go-to small brands for luxurious every day essentials for a while now. They focus on basic wardrobe essentials that are high on quality, comfort and style. I’m loving the minimalist feel of their new fall collection. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

I’m so excited to partner with one of my most favorite sites, Nordstrom, to share one of my favorite parts of fall – all the fashion! Specifically, all the texture and patterns of fall. I love a well done plaid, and my new blue plaid belted wrap coat is one of my favorite things. This shade of light blue paired with the bright red and white is one of the best, most unexpected color combos, don’t you think?

The plaid coat has an oversized, casual fit. And it looks really cute belted, especially with the two front pockets!

My cognac leather satchel is one of my favorite bag colors. And I found a really awesome look for less right here. It comes in a lot of other great colors, too.

By the way, if you’re looking for a really good croissant and coffee in downtown Charleston, La Patisserie is gorgeous. These floors are beautiful and it’s so sunny and happy in here.

These black leather loafers are getting so much wear. They basically go with everything and are super comfortable, yet polished. And I’m just so really so glad that I bought them. They also come in a beautiful camel color and black suede. I really like the little stacked heel.

Here’s a good picture of how cute this plaid coat is all wrapped up. So so obsessed.

dark wash skinny jeans, white scoop neck tee

And Nordstrom carries so many of my favorite beauty brands, too! The Chanel ultrawear flawless pressed foundation is a whole different level.

Beauty Featured:

chanel flawless compact foundation, bareminerals bronzer,

rms pigmented lipstick, rms living luminizer, nars multi stick

And last but not least, here are more of my favorite plaid pieces and tweed finds on Nordstrom! They have the biggest and best collection ranging in a wide assortment of sizes and prices!

A little black dress is one of my most worn items during fall and winter. This velvet turtleneck dress (also available here) has the best swingy silhouette and is as soft and comfortable as you’re probably imagining. SO excited to wear this more in the months ahead.

These black leather boots by Dear Frances are a staple in my closet in the cooler months. I wore them a lot last winter and I know I will this year, too. They come in a lot of great colors.

Wearing:

black velvet swing dress (also available here),

woven jute clutch, black ankle boots, sparkle socks,

oval face leather watch, clove + hollow lipstick

Can you ever have too many little black dresses? Please say no.

I ALMOST removed this amazing dress because the blue background didn’t go with the collage, isn’t that ridiculous? But it’s just so cute and has the best back button up detail! This black tunic style dress is a classic type to have in your closet. And I’m dreaming of this fun dress for a party!

I have a new line I’m loving after attending the most gorgeous brand dinner! Leatherology is popping up at the Garden & Gun’s Fieldshop inside The Dewberry here in Charleston! The brother/sister duo behind the brand were here to celebrate the launch and I kinda fell in love with their whole vibe, by their story and their design.

Rae and David, siblings, live in Dallas and are inspired by creating simple, everyday luxury pieces. Rae designs the Leatherology collection, and David focuses on the business side of the brand.

Below is the gracious host Jaime Dewberry. She and her husband John founded and opened The Dewberry, and I am SO glad they did. It’s one of my most favorite places to grab drinks, dinner, or stay in Charleston!

I’m Wearing:

similar blue dress, jute bag,

navy woven heels, crystal criss cross hair pin

What makes Leatherology so special, other than their timeless style, is their ability to personalize all of their pieces. They offer both hand pressed monograms as well as hand painted lettering. Here are just a few of their pieces that I love.

The big two tone tote is my most favorite piece in their collection, currently anyway. :) Check out Leatherology’s extensive collection online right here, or pop into the Dewberry!
