Look Linger Love

Earrings have long been my jewel of choice. They’re so much fun to wear and get plenty of notice thanks to their proximity to your eyes. While I love a good pair of understated and classic earrings, my heart really belongs with a conversational piece. Something that makes a statement.

Hurricane Florence has passed, Charleston was fairly unharmed (very lucky), and the town is back to regularly scheduled programming. But my thoughts are with those who were not as fortunate. The scenes in North Carolina are heart breaking to see. If you would like to help consider donating to the American Red Cross. They have a page set up so you can donate directly to Hurricane Florence efforts.

Today I’m sharing this recent outfit that feels appropriate for “fall transitioning”. The black eyelet top is on sale and it’s also super cute worn unbuttoned over a dress or tank!

My denim button front skirt has an easy a-line silhouette and pairs well with both tees and sweaters!

My black cylinder cross body bag is an oldie but a goodie, so much so that it’s regularly re-stocked on Shopbop! Here it is :) It’s one of my most favorite all time accessories in every season!

One of the first purchases I make every fall is a pair of new flats. Comfortable flats are a necessary part of my day to day mom life – school pick up, errands, soccer practice… I had seen Rothy’s shoes on instagram over the past year, but this is my first pair from them. They’re a sustainable brand – low waste, low impact materials – made out of recycled water bottles! And you guys, they’re SO comfortable. Plus they have cute, classic styles offered in a lot of different colors.

Happy Labor Day! We are about to head out on the boat and meet some friends. Today in honor of the unofficial end of summer I’m sharing some long dresses to help us transition into cooler weather.
