If you’ve come to Charleston then it’s very likely you’ve come to eat. It’s pretty much the best city in the world for food (my biased opinion) and our chefs win awards regularly to prove it. I have a million favorites, below are a lot of them. If you’re visiting for a quick weekend I’ve bolded my top suggestions for you. Be sure to make reservations.

Sorry for late reply Liz! Okay so I totally recommend Leons for lunch or dinner and Taco Boy, too. Daytime you could really do anywhere. I feel like night time too, as long as you’re comfortable with it. If you’re staying out on the islands then Poes and Home Team are great.

hi! I love your blog! My family and I are headed to Charleston for a few days this summer and I’m hoping you can recommend a couple delicious, casual restaurants where little kids are welcome. We love seafood! Thanks for your help!

I moved from Texas to Charleston last summer for a 3-month internship and your blog is making me miss it so much! I always tell friends & family who are planning a visit there that if they don’t leave 5+ pounds heavier, they did something wrong…

Fast & French is always good :)

You should add Black Tap Coffee to that list! And Fast & French for a quick/cheap/easy option! Missing Charleston.
