Hello! We had dinner at our friend’s place last night and I wore this easy outfit that I just love so much! Especially the colors of this green stripe tank, it’s made with a metallic thread which is so fun and it’s 40% off right now. And the oatmeal elastic pants are really good basics for summer – super comfy and go with everything.
Here are some more new pieces on my radar this week! I also just ordered these silky Donni pants that I’m so excited about it but didn’t include in the collage b/c I’m afraid they’ll sell out really quickly again, they always do.
Today I’m boating over to The Other Side’s Farm for lunch with some friends – I’ll be sure to share pictures on my stories!! It’s so pretty over there. xoxo
TGIF! I’m supposed to be in jury duty right now but I was dismissed! It was kinda fun to be there for an hour this morning and go through the whole selection process, but I’m glad I didn’t get chosen. We leave for Harbour Island on Monday morning so today is my last “business day” here in Charleston for like the next 6 weeks. We’ll come home for a night or two over the weekends before and after a family trip that we have in July, but as far as businesses that are only open during the week – it all has to happen today. Since I figured I’d be at the courthouse all day I don’t have too many things on my list left to do, other than the shipping store.
I feel like I’m rambling here, so I’m going to move on.
I wanted to share an outfit round up today – I feel like it’s been a bit! Here are 10 recent outfits! Starting with this white mini dress I wore yesterday downtown for shopping with Lilly. It’s lightweight and flattering and just a really good day dress for summer!
For those of you following along on my microneedling healing this photo was taken last night when I went for a walk. Still some slight scabbing but most of that washed away this morning in the shower.
This flutter sleeve dress is a piece that Shopbop had for me in my room in Chicago. It’s honestly not something that I would have noticed on their site but it’s seriously so cute and has a comfy and flattering fit!
I wore this stripe boucle fringe dress a few days ago when Lilly and I went for ice cream on Sullivans Island. Everytime I wear this I get compliments.
This was my jury duty dress I wore today. I love this textured stripe dress so much and it has a more business kinda vibe to it so I don’t have too many opportunities to wear it. I always get compliments when I do though, its seriously so flattering.
Did you see Taylor Swift in the green gingam set by Hunter Bell?? I mean – so exciting, Hunter is the sweetest. This long, blue printed dress is by her too and her pieces are always so well made.
Y’all this is officially my third Cissa shirt, I seriously can’t get enough of them. The asymmetrical button is just such a fun and waist cinching detail – but if that’s not your thing you can alway button it up normally, too!
Ending with one of my favorite dresses of the summmmmer – this little navy mini! I love the gathered ruching and the bubble hem. It’s so freaking cute!
With the summer solstice behind us I’d say we are in the heat of summer and I love it. My favorite season to live in and to shop for. Right now I’m realllly into corded charm necklaces and cute & casual matching sets.
I love these new zodiac hair brushes, so fun! This red wrap dress is a perfect culmination the cool things this summer (drop waist, red, wrap). And is Posse is absolutely killing it right now, don’t you think?
New and right now in my life – these stripe cotton shorts! I just keep grabbing for them b/c they feel like boxers but have better structure and fit so they pass as actual shorts in the while. They have a cute little pocket in the back. And they’re on sale right now.
Warning: this is a big post :) There’s just so much to share.
Getting the invitation to join Shopbop to celebrate the opening of their Pop Up Shop in Chicago was a dream trip for me. I think y’all know that it’s my favorite site. I’ve checked their new arrivals by like 10 AM every morning. I am a devotee. And to see it IRL and hang out with the Shopbop team? Dreams.
Let’s start from the beginning. Travel outfit consisted of a cute Staud set that I saw a friend wearing a couple of months ago. It’s the perfect soft and stretchy set that has a nice weight to keep you warm on the plane!
Upon landing and checking into the hotel – Hotel Emily – it’s connected to the Shopbop pop up shop, I immediately tried on the pajamas that were waiting for me in my room. I love the oversized flowy style of these and the fabric is the softest and has a nice little stretch to it.
That evening we had a little preview of the Shopbop pop up store, followed by a Rag & Bone cocktail party at Bisous, followed by an intimate dinner with the Shopbop team at Maxwell Trading. That meal was absolutely insane.
I had an incredible lunch at Alla Vita with some of the other influncers/content creators that Shopbop flew in for the events. Loved getting to meet Jenna, Brittany, and Charli in person! Of course you know Liz.
We had dinner at Doma with Aligne and Shopbop, and it was one of my favorite events! It was fun to meet so many Chicago creators. And it was fun to see all of the Aligne pieces styled in different ways.
Very cool to get to sit with Caroline at dinner. I adore her even more now! Do you follow her Caroline’s Closet Shopbop Hearts page on their site? I’m trying to get her and the Shopbop team to come to Charleston for a pop up!! Fingers crossed.
And I think that’s it, you guys!! When it was time to travel home I wore this comfy and warm outfit. Again, I can’t handle being cold on a plane. And I’m not normally a jeans to fly kind of girl but these are oversized and super comfy!!
Hi! A little bit of a quickie post today – sharing 5 things! Happy Sunday :)
Summer Skin
My products always shift a little bit in the summer. I like to simplify to make it easier for traveling and packing, but also my skin just needs “more” because it’s exposed to chlorine and salt and sun, and more of it is visibly shown. So a few products I’m loving this summer:
Osea’s Hyaluronic Body Serum and the Undaria Algae Body Oil are like my hydration heroes. I start with the serum for which gives a strong hydration boost of 161%! It has 5 different types of hyaluronic acid which makes your skin plump and smooth. Then I follow up with the body oil. It’s made with seaweed, which makes my skin feel incredible. And it actually helps with firmness and elasticity for a lifted look. I apply both the body serum and the body oil on my hips too, any little help I can get there is good. Osea also shared a discount code – CHASSITY10 – to their entire site!
I find myself reaching for separates a lot this season. Jeans, shorts, skirts… I love this swishy tiered hem and the cheerful floral print of this skirt. It feels versatile, feminine, and instantly polished. A few other skirts I’m loving are this knit skirt, this rickrack trim wrap skirt, and this brown floral skirt.
Summer Swim
I have a new favorite swim brand!! I am just SO impressed by the quality and especially the fit of these Left On Friday bikinis. The hi hi bottom is kinda perfect. And the club top and the sandy top are the tops I have! In case you’re wondering here’s that Chappy blanket that’s underneath.
What I packed for Chicago
I spend the last couple of days in Chicago with Shopbop celebrating their pop up store! It was a fabulous weekend I’ll probably put up a recap at some time in the next couple of days. A few stand out things I packed – these white jeans, these strappy stone sandals, the stone ballet flats, this yellow vest top, and this dress. And not pictured but this is the only bag I brought and it worked for everything!
What I wore last night
I was pretty tired last night after flying home but it was my friend Jackie’s birthday and her sister threw her a little party that I didn’t want to miss, so I showered and just let me hair air dry, wore my new stretchy black dress, and dressed it up with this fun sparkly gold teeny tiny tote crossbody. Also wore these gold toe sandals. Always feels good to be home.
Yesterday I shared 7 recent casual day outfits, and today I’m sharing 7 recent dressy/casual outfits. The kind of outfits that you could make work for dinner. The kind of outfits that aren’t over the top, but still feel special. Nothing overly fancy!
I wore this first outfit to a dinner with Over The Moon celebrating Marie Oliver’s 10 year anniversary. I love this set so much. But the pieces will be cute worn separately, too!
Josh and I had dinner with friends Saturday night and I wore this black mini. I love this brand and this style so much, there are a lot of different colors.
Honestly this next dress could go in the casual day outfits, but I wore this yesterday and loved it so much that I wanted to share here b/c I think it’ll sell out sooner rather than later.
And just a reminder I post all of my outfits on my Shopmy Outfits page so you can always go there to see my posts in real time :) Sizing info is usually posted there, too, but you can always message me if you have a question!
