We’re back this morning with another nursery creation from a blogger that I’ve been reading for a long time: Sue, aka The Zhush!  Surely you know her shop, it’s filled with gorgeous finds!  So I’m thrilled to have Sue contribute her baby boy inspiration to the Nursery Design Series today!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi everyone, Sue from The Zhush here! Thrilled to be putting together this fun little inspiration board for little baby boy “Look, Linger, Love”!
This gray modern crib is so completely different than the traditional dark stained wood one I used with my own three children, that I was immediately drawn to it. The “modern safari” theme that I came up with here is without a doubt inspired by my five year old son’s current obsession with all things “Indiana Jones”…I can hear the theme song from Raiders of the Lost Ark as I type this!  Hope you like it!
Mid-Century Rocker Chair: $288 – urbanoutfitters.com
Very cool room for a boy, and that crib is one of my favorites! Love the simplicity.  Thanks so much to Sue for creating this space for us.  Be sure to check out her amazing shop for lots of pretty finds!
Check it!  We’re back this morning with another draw droppingly adorable nursery from yet another design talent, Bryn Alexandra. Yippie yay what a great Monday!  A fellow southerner just a little north of me here in Charleston, Bryn rocks the house up in Charlotte on a daily basis.  I’m so honored to have my sweet friend visit today to contribute to the Nursery Design Series
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I’m SO excited to be a guest poster for Chassity on her beautiful blog; it’s easily one of my favorites. I got to know Chassity back in May at Blogfest and she is as sweet and beautiful in person as she is on her blog. In fact, while we were attending some events I noticed Miss Chassity wasn’t partaking in adult beverages and the thought crossed my mind that she may be pregnant. Well turns out she was and I’m SO happy and excited for her and her growing family.

It was fun playing pretend and making a little boy nursery – I decided to go with a preppy Federal-style spin. Thanks again for having me, Chassity!

Told you Bryn rocks the house.  How sweet is that nursery?  And don’t you love the cute ceiling fan that she found?  She’s not even a momma yet and she knows what she’s doing.  Sidenote: I’m trying to coerce her into joining in on mommyhood soon, so my Mommas- tell her how wonderful it is!  And Bryn, thank you thank you for the nursery eye candy today!  So funny you noticed my lack of “indulging” at Blogfest in NYC.  I was trying to be sneaky :)

Today I am pleased as pie return to the Nusery Design Series with a room to knock your socks off.  Designed by the one and only Angie Hranowsky that everyone knows and adores.  Maybe you caught my Q&A with Angie back in March?  If not then you surely saw her 8 page feature in Lonny’s May issue.  Angie is quite possibly my favorite interior designer ever, so it goes without saying that I’m thrilled to unveil her creative take on Baby Evans’ nursery room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Personally I spent a lot of time in my nurseries with my babies. Lots of walking, rocking, singing, playing and stories. I think it can be designed with longevity just like any other room in your home. It’s a room that can be playful, pleasurable and chic all at once. I like to design nurseries and children’s rooms that grow with them, interchanging elements as they mature. I think this cozy, modern nursery would be just right for baby Evans and his uber-stylish mama.
Clockwise from top left:
1) Campbell Fabric – Sister Parish Design
2) Ibex – Casamance
3) Raked Linen by Kelly Wearstler – Lee Jofa
4) 1970’s Brass & Chrome Chandelier – 1st Dibs
5) Rob Delamater Monotypes on Paper – Lost Art Salon
6) 1970’s Brass Owl Lamp – 1st Dibs
7) 1950’s Dresser – 1st Dibs
8) Vintage Moroccan Rug – Woven Accents
9) Vintage Adrian Pearsall Rocker – Stellar Union
10) Spot On Square Roh Crib – Velocity
11) Jonathan Adler Letter Pillow – Jonathan Adler
12) Zebra Pillow – Fawn & Forest
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I might wake up in night sweats dreaming of that room.  The art, the patterns, the lucite crib… Goodness what a lucky (and cool!) little boy he would be to grow up there.  A million thanks to Angie Hranowsky for creating this handsome space.  Now back off to dreamland…

Today is a happy and giddy kind of day because this morning I’m sharing another Nursery Design Series creation by one extremely talented young lady.  Alexandra Berlin may be a brand spanking new interior design graduate (just this month!) but let me tell you that her talent and work speak volumes for what’s to come of her career.  And what’s to come is greatness.  Take a looksie!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wanted to create a nursery space that didn’t feel like a nursery, a space that Baby Evans could grow into! And a room that Chassity would love being in too. A cozy, warm room that would be inviting to everyone.
Incredible, Alex!  Thank you so much for putting together this beautiful, calming, and masculine space.  I honestly adore every piece that you have placed here, but the rug and floor lamp give me goosebumps I love them so.  And to all of you, be sure to visit Alex’ blog, Things That Sparkle.  It’s one of the first blogs I read everyday because it is filled to the brim with creative genius!
Allow me to introduce you to the first design blogger to contribute to the Nursery Design Series, Amber of Amber Interior Design.  Her sassiness and style rock my socks off on a daily basis.  And so does this nursery design that she so generously created for my little mister.  See for yourselves… Amber is a genious.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well hello there Look Linger Lovers!  Amber here from Amber Interiors ze blog.  Since our lovely Mrs. Chassity is preggo with a little dude, I was elated when she asked me to do my best at creating an inspiration board for the tiny man.

When creating this room I decided to go with a “chinoiserie, regency, moody, eclectic, dude” inspired room. Nothing but the best for Chassity and her baby bundle.

To be honest, I could move into this room myself, crib and all!!

Thanks again Lovers!  Hop on over and visit me sometime….

Told you she was amazing.  Thank you so much, Amber, for creating this haven.  I could spend hours in there and be happy as could be!  Be sure to visit Amber’s blog if it isn’t already on your daily list, because it should be!

Heads up – I know a lot of you are big fans of Marysia Swim’s Bumby line of swimwear for children (boys and girls), so I wanted to give you all a heads up that there will be a flash sale tomorrow (Thursday) on Gilt starting at 12 Eastern time (Yes- that means wholesale prices!).

Need a reminder of the cuteness?  Here’s my Lilly rocking her Zosia suit.
