Happy Memorial Day, Everyone! I love a long holiday weekend. We’re spending it with family (just us, not extended) and a lot of friends. We’ll hit up the beach, dip in the pool, go for golf cart rides, and eat a lot. I’m betting a few cocktails will be thrown in there, too. Doesn’t that margarita look amazing? I could only drink one though, sugary sweet drinks give me a sour stomach.

Another holiday weekend plus?? All the sales. I mean, they’re everywhere and plentiful! Go out and support your local shops. I’m hoping to swing by Hampden Clothing, Gwynn’s, and II Brunettes. And don’t forget about all the crazy deals online, too. Here’s a round up for you with a few of my sale favorites.

Nordstrom’s half yearly sale“:

tibi dress (i have this in pink – so flattering), missoni wrap dressvalentino bow sandal

And remember this floral shift dress I blogged a few days ago? Even prettier in person. But it runs small, order up a size. Isn’t Gray a pretty model? :)

About a week and a half ago I was visiting Meg over at Mimi & Meg and shared my holiday tradition and wishlist.  I linked over for you all, but I know as a blog reader myself that we don’t always have time to click over and read guest posts.  Well, since that wishlist took me some time to put together, and my time is limited these days, I thought I’d share over here again today.  To those of you who saw the post at Meg’s, thank you- but if you missed it, here it is :)

I can’t take credit for the beautiful collages, Meg did all of that.  She’s impressive, no?!  I could certainly use some help in the blog design department (here’s wishing for photoshop and a new computer for Christmas).  If you need help in the design department too, then you’re in luck because Meg has created a “Design A Better Blog Post” video.  And it’s available right here for a very reasonable price.  Hey Meg, thanks again for inviting me over to your beautiful blog.

I’m loving gingham for fall, and this new case would be a gorgeous update for your iphone!

Of course you could pick from any of Dani Notes’ ink colors (or designs).

And as fall approaches so do the reason’s to party (yay!).  Dani’s selection of invitations, platters, and other party supplies are reason enough to throw a fete of your own.
Go visit my lovely sponsor’s shop to check it all out!

I know I’m not the only one with spring fever when I get a couple of swimwear post requests.  So here’s a little roundup of the suit style currently on my radar.

It’s not a secret that Marysia Swim is on my list.

See a theme?
PS, the background image is actually an Amanda Nisbet fabric.  Thanks for that idea Sarah

There are some things you use over and over day after day that just make things so-much-better. It was hard to narrow this list down to just 5. I left out the obvious ones like my iphone and mac computer and tv. Weeded out other faves like my favorite hair device and my trusted face mask, and was left with these 5:

This portable charger power bank is truly one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It has three different cables and charges basically everything. Everyone in my family uses this thing and not just during travel. This will be the best holiday gift for literally anyone on your list (and dirty santa parties!)! It’s on sale right now for only $25 and comes in 6 different colors!

I’ve had my Kindle paperwhite reader for probably 15 years and I can’t imagine life without it. I read every single night and the battery lasts for soooo long. I love that I can read in a dark room and not disturb Josh sleeping next to me. And I love that I can just browse and download new books in seconds – makes finding and reading books so easy. You can also be on a sunny beach and thanks to the paperwhite technology have a crystal clear non glare screen! By the way, after all these years Kindle just launched their new Colorsoft Kindle with a color screen which is pretty cool!

Okay this one is big and splurgy. My Peloton treadmill is one of my favorite things. I’m SO happy I bought one. I’m a peloton girl (we have the bike and I stream their strength and pilates classes regularly) so I really wanted to stick in the family with my treadmill. I love the instructors but I also love to pull up Netflix on the large screen and just walk and watch. For a more budget friendly option this walking pad has crazy good reviews and is 50% off right now for only $125! And this classic treadmill has great reviews, too!

I bought this electric water kettle two and a half years ago and I’ve used it every single morning ever since. I’ll make instant coffee (thanks for the tip Bethenny Frankel) or matcha (this one is my fave) or tea! It’s so handy.

Last but not least my 2-in-1 steamer iron! This baby is super power and I use it all the time. I mostly use it as classic steamer on hanging clothes but it works really well on a flat surfaces as an iron, too!! Some steamers don’t get the job done but this one is legit.

Have a must have item, share in the comments!

Happy Monday! The first Monday of Fall. I mentioned somewhere (insta? blog? substack?) last week that I’m ready. Funny how that just happens. I’ve been binging Gilmore Girls and made our fist pot of soup last night (sausage potato kale). It’s wonderful. Even if it is still hot here in Charleston. Anway, shall we kick off the first blog post of fall with 10 things on my radar right now? Yes lets’!

Chartreuse Dinnerware: stopped me in my tracks. This is gorgeous. Great all year long but especially gorgeous for fall and holiday tablescapes.

Navy Embroidered Dress: a casual but still cute fit and so gorgeously made.

Green Quilted Jacket: this will be in your closet for decades to come.

Art Deco Ring: shiny prettiness from Etsy!

Two Tone Wide Leg Jeans: okay I got these last week and they are every bit as good as they seem. They run true to size I’m in a 27. So excited about these!

Zodiac Candles: it’s candle season and these zokiac candles are a great gift! They make a great vessel afterwards!

Dorsey’s Diamond 8 Stone Necklace: this two-toner just dropped in their new fall collection and it’s on my wishlist. It’s made with lab grown diamonds and I can tell you from experience that their lab grown diamonds are exquisite. I have this neckace.

Black Long Dress: a new arrivals from Doen’s drop and it’s even cuter in person.

Fringe Armless Chairs: okay Anthro is stepping it up how chic are these fringe chairs??

Studded Ballet Flats: one of the prettiest shoes I have seen this seaon. Big fan of Larroude and their quality and I love the feminine design here.
