Have you visited Dressing on the Side lately?  Lots of cute tees.  Great for these summer months ahead.

Maybe it’s my love for cupcakes, but I think that “Love” tank above is adorable.  And I love this burn out look of this “Honey” tshirt.

Go check them out at their shop here.  Their prices are fabulous!

Super excited to introduce one of my most favorite blog buddies, Cassie from Hi Sugarplum.  Ya’ll read her blog right?  Because she pretty much cracks me up every single day.  We have regular email banter back and forth, and she’d definitely be a drinking buddy if only we weren’t so far apart.  Her talent(s) rocks my socks off too.  Thanks so much Cassie for popping over to help pick up my slack this week!

Hello lovlies! I’m Cassie from Hi Sugarplum! I think Chassity had a mental lapse when she asked me to guest on her uber-fabulous blog today?! Does she really trust me to live up to her level of style? Impossible! I feel like I need to up my game and put on my klassy classy hat!

I love color, and home interiors provide some of the greatest color combinations. Here I take some favorites into my closet, and create outfits inspired by decor.
pink/black
Pink and Black
red & aqua
Red and Aqua
peacock blue & green
Peacock Blue and Green
orange & brown

But fashion only makes the occasional appearance on Hi Sugarplum. Most days you’ll find me Building Pelmet Boxes out of foam board,

and making my home over, one room at a time.
And here’s a sneak peek at a project I’m working on next.
So hop over and say hi! Thanks so much for having me today, Chass!! Hope you’re having a ball in New York.

Isn’t she great?  Girl crush.  Now show her some love!!

I may be en route to NYC for the Bali Style Summit, but we still have you covered here.  Because one of my most favoritey favorite girls is visiting today, Megan from Honey We’re Home.  She’s drop dead gorgeous, has a beautiful family, an amazing home, and is multi-talented.  And she’s managed  to work up a fabulous post for us.  You like closets, yes?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi all! I’m Megan from Honey We’re Home!  It’s a thrill for me to guest post for Chassity today as she hits up the Big Apple again!  Chassity is seriously one of the most fashionable women out there, and she makes being a mama of a little one look hip and chic!  (Not to mention how adorably she dresses her daughter!)  I have a 15 month-old son, but most days I’m in a tank top and shorts from Express!
As an ode to Chassity and her love of all things fashion, I thought I’d share some seriously gorgeous closets with you!  You gotta put those clothes somewhere! :)  You may have come across my closet before in blog land, but before my closet was designed, I was drooling over these beauties!
via Domino.  I love how the pants are hung and color coordinated.
Wide open space with pink cubes and a dramatic arch.
How many pair of shoes do we think Chassity has?!
Beautiful white, simple island in this closet.  And those light fixtures!
So light and bright1  And those closet doors! Swoon!
via Eva Jeanbart Lorenzotti, Vivre.  Fun and colorful. Great mirrored doors.
So pretty.
Here is a shoe store, um closet.  I guess there’s another room for the clothes?!
Padma Lakshmi’s closet.
Delicate dishes to hold your jewels.
Paris Hilton’s closet
Eva Longoria’s closet
Love how well organized her jeans are!
And you can’t do a post about closets without including Carrie’s closet from the first SATC movie!
*************
Thanks for having me Chassity!  Have a blast in NY!
Oh Megan, you have my heart. And because she teased you all by mentioning her closet without sharing it, here’s a peek!
There’s an entire post on how she built and designed it (complete with the sources) on her blog, go see it here!  Thanks so much for stopping by, Megan!!  You’re the best!
So I’m off tomorrow morning to NYC for Bali’s Style Summit.  Should be a great time according to our schedule!  And of course I’ll be squeezing in time for other fun things too (read: shopping and friends).
Bali’s providing us with ipad’s to tweet and facebook during the summit, so follow me and you’ll see what’s going on :)  Let me know if there’s something you MUST see in intimate apparel!  I’m there to share some insights!
Oh, and I have a couple of my favorite blogland ladies stopping by to visit you (and help me out since I’ll be so busy).  I think you’ll likey very much.  Kisses to you all!!
PS, so sorry for the late post today.  My internet has been down for over 24 hours.  Hello, don’t they know I’m a blogger??? ;)
Last night I stopped by an opening party for a new store in downtown Charleston that I’ve been anxiously awaiting, Novel.  You might be familiar with the ladies that joined forces for this venture: Lauren Lail of Library, Archives of Fashion, Jane Pope of Balboa Jewelry, and Way Way Allen of Blue Chickadee.  I say “new store”, but really it’s not.  Novel began as a pop up shop, and has now found a permanent place.
I was greeted by this lovely lady who served the most delicious little open face style cucumber sandwiches (she saw a lot of me).
Isn’t her Novel apron great?
I took all of these pictures with my phone, so I apologize for the poor quality.  Here are some of the shots I took.
The whole store is painted white which really shows off all the items.
{That’s the beautiful Lauren Lail being interviewed by a local newspaper.}
I adore this red dress.  And do you spy the lucite clothing rods?  LOVE.
It was a great (and busy!) party.  Congrats ladies.  So happy to have yet another fabulous shop downtown (341 King St, Ste B).
Isn’t this Tooth Fairy Kit darling?  Complete with a letterpress certificate of record and a silkscreened cloth deposit bag for “transactions”.
