The first item for Baby Boy Evans’ nursery has been purchased.  Excuse the photo I took with my phone, but I just can’t help but share it with you.  This handsome chair is even more perfect in person. The boy needs some cowhide, am I right?

And the first item for the boy’s wardrobe has been purchased too: this super soft Feather Baby Sleeper that I picked up at Sugar Snap Pea.  BTW, you’re about to see a lot from SSP here in the future.  It’s an amazing children’s shop here in dowtown Charleston and their brand spankin’ new e-commerce website just launched!!  Note to all my awesome southern momma’s… I hate to let you all down but you’re not going to be seeing smocked and appliqued jon jon longall things around these parts.  Don’t hate on me, it’s just not my thing.  We can still be friends, right?

Purchased my first pair of loafers for this fall.  Guh, glittery love.
How pumped are we that Zara’s online shopping site is now live here in the US?  Dare I say that it’s time we all put our money where our mouths are?
Last but not least, Bali Intimates has quite successfully launched a fundraising campaign to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).  Last month Bali donated $25,000 to BCRF.  And to keep the momentum going in September Bali will match donations made to BCRF by Bali Facebook Fans, up to an additional $25,000.  Pretty sweet huh?  Now that really is inspiring women to feel beautiful both on the inside and out.  If you’d like to be a part of this, go “like” Bali’s Facebook Page and make a donation.

Today I am pleased as pie return to the Nusery Design Series with a room to knock your socks off.  Designed by the one and only Angie Hranowsky that everyone knows and adores.  Maybe you caught my Q&A with Angie back in March?  If not then you surely saw her 8 page feature in Lonny’s May issue.  Angie is quite possibly my favorite interior designer ever, so it goes without saying that I’m thrilled to unveil her creative take on Baby Evans’ nursery room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Personally I spent a lot of time in my nurseries with my babies. Lots of walking, rocking, singing, playing and stories. I think it can be designed with longevity just like any other room in your home. It’s a room that can be playful, pleasurable and chic all at once. I like to design nurseries and children’s rooms that grow with them, interchanging elements as they mature. I think this cozy, modern nursery would be just right for baby Evans and his uber-stylish mama.
Clockwise from top left:
1) Campbell Fabric – Sister Parish Design
2) Ibex – Casamance
3) Raked Linen by Kelly Wearstler – Lee Jofa
4) 1970’s Brass & Chrome Chandelier – 1st Dibs
5) Rob Delamater Monotypes on Paper – Lost Art Salon
6) 1970’s Brass Owl Lamp – 1st Dibs
7) 1950’s Dresser – 1st Dibs
8) Vintage Moroccan Rug – Woven Accents
9) Vintage Adrian Pearsall Rocker – Stellar Union
10) Spot On Square Roh Crib – Velocity
11) Jonathan Adler Letter Pillow – Jonathan Adler
12) Zebra Pillow – Fawn & Forest
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I might wake up in night sweats dreaming of that room.  The art, the patterns, the lucite crib… Goodness what a lucky (and cool!) little boy he would be to grow up there.  A million thanks to Angie Hranowsky for creating this handsome space.  Now back off to dreamland…

Today is quite bittersweet for me as it’s the one year anniversary of the day I started my blog.  Yep, Look Linger Love is ONE!  This little place has brought me so much joy and passion.  I knew I’d love blogging, but I had no idea how important it would be to me.  I have made an army of friends who inspire me everyday- some in our “online world” but also a large number in my real day to day life.  You all know who you are, and I love you.  I’m even a little weepy as I write this… can I just blame the pregnancy hormones?

The people and experiences are what make blogging worth all of the time that it takes (which is a lot for those of you wondering).  But when it’s something that you love, all of that time is well spent.  I thank each and everyone of you who want to take a few minutes out of your very busy days to visit this little space, it means the world to me.  I love sharing what inspires me with all of you.

So I thought it might be appropriate take a look back at my very first post that I shared here on my blog.  I still believe every word that I wrote.  And I got a really warm and fuzzy feeling when I noticed where I sourced my very first image.  Wow, look at how far this little blog has come :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You see, not that many things have changed since I became a momma. You read that right. Sure, there are days when I’m still in my pajamas at noon. Yeah, my receipts at Target are exponentially higher these days.  But ultimately, I’m still trying to live my life as happily and beautifully as I can. What better way to chronicle and share my daily inspirations than a blog?
Because really, who says you can’t carry a supply of diapers and Cheerios in an incredible handbag?
Have you explored Sheyna Jewelry’s site yet?  I had been hearing a lot about them and was thrilled to be contacted by one of their representatives to review some of their products.  Their prices range from $5 – $5,000 so there is something there for everyone.  Here are a few of my favorite pieces that I had the opportunity to curate into a collection.
{My apologies for the poor image quality!}
One nice perk about Sheyna is that you can quickly create your own designs using their drag and drop digital sketch pad or you can just choose to shop the existing jewels that have already been designed like I did.  Once you place your order your jewelry is handmade by Sheyna’s artisins and shipped free of charge to you.  How fun is that?!
For my review I chose the green gold oval earrings and Sheyna also surprised me with two wrap bracelets.  They arrived beautifully packaged.  I’m saving the cute little pouches for when I travel.
These pieces are beautifully made and I’m so happy to have them in my possession.  And I’m very happy to announce that Sheyna is giving away a pair of earrings to one lucky LLL  reader.  You get to choose between the circle charm earrings and the gold circle earrings shown here:
Here’s how you enter to win (leave a separate comment for each):
1. Leave a comment telling us which pair you would choose
4. Click the “like” button below to share the giveaway on your FB page
5. Tweet about the giveway (be sure to copy me so I see)
This giveaway will end Friday night (Sept. 9th).  Good luck!
PS – as an added bonus, Sheyna is offering Look Linger Love readers 20% off of your order.
Just enter LLL20 at checkout.  Thanks Sheyna!
