Over the feeling that you live the best life ever?

I do.

Photos taken on Sullivan’s Island, just a couple of miles from our home.  Blessed.

Loving these Sam Edelman Hampton Flats.  Gorgeous shape, colors, and little gold heel.  Good price too.

A couple of days ago I ran (okay I didn’t actually run) to Target and saw these adorable cereal bowls.  I think I need to go back for them.  Or does instagram really just make everything prettier?  No they’re really that purdy.

Oh, and guess who’s going back to Blogfest in May!
Pretty darn excited about it.  And I have a whole big monstrous group of amazing bloggy friends going too, which just means that this year will be SO MUCH BETTER than last year.  And last year was fun, see my Blogfest 2011 recap here.  But again, this year will be better… I won’t be pregnant this time (makes it so much better for obvious reasons), there are even more crazy talented awesome ladies going (again, better for obvious reasons), and I just have to believe that the schedule will be twice as awesome as last year.  Yup, pretty stoked.  Get ready NYC!  You too Marysia, I’ll need to squeeze in lots of quality time with my favorite designer!

So with Blogfest in mind, I have business cards already (yep, so official).  But I’m thinking about adding some color to the edges much like what I saw on Camille’s blog.  Only I’m thinking red since my cards are just like my blog, pink and red.  And the tutorial looks just about as easy as it could be.
So it would be a little something like this… (via Oh Happy Day)

Thanks so much for stopping by this week and leaving so many sweet comments.  I hope ya’ll have a great weekend.  Will you watch the Superbowl?  I won’t pay much attention to the game but love the commercials and the food.  My Dad and brothers are actually going to the game and have some pretty amazing seats… maybe we’ll see them on tv.  Either way, I’ll be stuffing my face on these bacon wrapped potato bites just like last year…

My friend Sarah over at Flourish Design + Style just opened up an art shop called Gallery Wall full of $10 originals… and they’re made by her.  Um, can you say LOVE?
Pretty fantastic huh?  Go getchu some!
Oh, and that gorgeous frame is just an ikea frame spray painted gold.

It’s off the hook amazing people.  No surprise though.  My girl Kate Davis has long been one of my favorite jewelry designers.  I’ve been collecting her jewels for over 5 years now.  And I’d like to add some pieces from her new Tropics collection to my own little jewel collection.  You do too.  See…

Kate told me that the whole idea for the collection was to create jewelry that was totally inspired by the beach lifestyle.  You could wear it at the beach and at the end of the day… pull off your bikini, throw on a sundress, a little lip gloss, and be ready to go out.  She was dreaming of tanned skin and sun-bleached tangled hair, so the designs are pretty sexy.  I’d say.

That siren cuff (bottom left of last picture) is just out of this world perfect to me.   It might be my favorite piece, hard to say it’s all so pretty.  I asked Kate what her favorite piece is too, and like me, she had a hard time narrowing it down.
My Favorites!!!!! – well…depending on my mood…….the RIPPLE DISCS are my everyday earrings…………but the WATERFALL SHOULDER DUSTERS….are my get out of “mom mode” go to.  The WATERFALLS are actually so light you don’t even know that you are wearing them…..but trust me….everybody will notice them!!  Of the whole collection … I have been wearing non-stop the ISLA BANGLE, BALI BRACELETS,  DROPLET BANGLES….all mixed together.  The bracelets & necklaces were designed to be stacked and layered. So don’t feel shy! Again, it is all about your “fashion comfort zone”…how much or how little …is up to you!”

{the Waterfall Shoulder Dusters}

Lucky for Kate she’s the designer and doesn’t have to choose :)  So what about you?  What’s your favorite piece from Kate’s Spring Tropic Collection??

Dabble Magazine came to Charleston a couple of months ago and asked me to divulge the goods on all things interior design here in the Holy City.  I happily obliged.  Check it out.

{Yep, that’s a pregnant belly hiding there behind that Sally King Benedict painting!}

{Oh look, there I am on another rickshaw!}
I loved working with Dabble’s associate editor Victoria Drainville (that’s her next to me in that back rickshaw)!  She put together a beautiful story on Charleston, and I’m happy to be a part of it.  The winter issue is packed full of goodness and is definitely a must read if you like interiors, food, or travel.  Yep, I thought so.  See you over there!
