Pink is my most favorite color to add to my house (followed closely behind by rich blue-greens). It’s easy to throw in too, just simply do it. Don’t over think it. Here are a few great pieces to consider!

novak headboard, sally benedict abstract printswivel chair, culver glasses

vintage scarf (frame it!), fuchsia seagrass bowlsleoni chairs

pink armchairoverdyed rug (I have this in turquoise)

Just to give you an idea of how my turquoise rug looks (that is just like the pink one above) here it is in our playroom. You know… trolls are a good way to add pink to a space too, ha!

You know we haven’t had any big messes on it? So far have only needed to vacuum it.

  2. Holy smokes I JUST posted about an overdyed rug I am considering. How do you clean yours? I’m a little worried that one of these crazy dogs might have an accident at some point. Oh the inevitable…

  3. Chassity says:

Yeah mine are from the land of nod!

Oh my gosh, you have a troll collection! I recently found my old troll collection and couldn’t think of a way to display them, but then I stumbled upon your post. Amazing! Can you tell me what kind of shelving you used? Thanks!

I LOVE that you added that headboard. I saw a version of that in The LON catalog and then on a whim got the fabric at an insane discount and made my daughter a headboard for her new room! That fabric…man, it gets me everytime I walk in that room! And I have that rug but in the purple pink combo and it’s pretty amazing! Gotta LOVE pink! :)

  8. decorating a house right now and love pops of turquoise and pink! my room is gray and my bed is mint green and I planning on doing something fun like a navy couch / sitting area with pink dana gibson pillows etc —- we’ll see!

Thanks so much for this post! I am in the process of revamping our master bedroom, and this is just the reassurance I needed for adding splashes of pink to the color palette.

  16. You crack me up with those trolls! I never was a “pink” girl until recently and now I can’t get enough of it. So much so that I painted my entire office pink and I love it. That overdyed rug is gorgeous!!!

  17. You know I love, love, love the pink! All of these picks are gorgeous…the SBK artwork is my favourite- stunning. And your playroom….adore, adore.

  18. Haha, those trolls!!! Hilarious! I do love myself some pops of pink, although I do my best to keep it very minimal so the moth (man of the house) doesn’t notice!
