Good morning from Coral House :) We’re here for a few days and I’m not one bit mad about it. This island makes my heart happy.
Sharing some of my recently favorited etsy finds today! Especially loving that peacock headboard!

One of my favorite design choices I made for Coral House is the Biscuit Home Bedding. I have had their bedding before so I knew it was high quality, and I love all of the fun patterns and accessories.

(rattan headboard, chartreuse wall sconces, navy tables, tile floor, floral vase)

This bedroom features the Jenny Blue collection! I love the light greens and blues. And so cute with this blue linen neckroll sham.

This upstairs bedroom features the Bloomsberry collection in periwinkle with the blue linen shams and that lovely blue cashmere throw.

(rattan headboard)

This pink bedding is the Leighton collection paired with pink linen scallop shams.

And this fourth bedroom features my favorite pattern of all, the Dorothy Blue collection.

(rattan headboard, blue wall sconces, navy tables, beach print, tile floor)

And I just love that little red linen neckroll sham.

Thank you so much for my friend Bailey and her team at Biscuit for helping me make Coral House’s bedrooms cozy and fantastic! You can check out their entire Biscuit Bedding line here :)

A little life lately…
We just returned from another week in the mountains while the kids attended day camp at Montreat. Four families in one house – sounds crazy (and it is) but it is so much fun for all. Below I’m wearing this dress.

We had a mountain creek by our house that the kids loved going to after camp.

And of course the adults had fun, too.

Lilly’s little bunny pjs!

Below I’m wearing this blue gingham dress (so comfortable and a great price). Gray is wearing this dress (and we both have this same dress in the red print, too).
We rented the Shenandoah house for the week through Graybeard Realty and I highly recommend them. If you book a home through them in the future you can use the code “LLL” to get 5% off!

In other news… I had a lovely time at the Marysia Swim dinner at The Dewberry!

Did you see my instagram about Talbot’s book club this summer? Give a book get a book :) I’m wearing this red print dress and these sandals. My book pick was First Comes Love.

Here I am with my friend Molly at her beautiful home for the Babiators x Minnow Swim dinner! I’m wearing this red dress, this pom pom bag, and these sandals.

Lots of movies with the kids happening this summer break.

Pretty hydrangeas on our front porch :) Also you can find our doormat here!

And my dress and earrings are from Mulberry & King.

When it’s your friend’s birthday and she makes you have a parade :)

And ending with my red polka dot dress :) I have this in the blue and white stripe version, too! And it’s under $60!

I’m so excited to share a home tour of our Harbour Island, Bahamas home, Coral House! It’s been a busy few months with a lot of work (and some stress) but we love how the renovation turned out!! A big thank you to our architect Beau Clowney for helping us make the most out of this cottage and outdoor space!
We opened up this side of the landscaping so that we could do a front entrance. I love to sit on the front porch and watch the people go by on Bay Street.

Dutch door of my dreams.

I love the simple black and white striped Dash & Albert rug here.

This kitchen used to be a U-shape, but we wanted it to connect to the family room so we opened it up and made it a galley. So much brighter and roomier this way.

My favorite parts of this kitchen are the pink Stray Dog Designs chandelier, and stripe rug, and the painting by Chambers Austelle. And obviously the pink fridge!

The dining room is right off of the kitchen. We replaced the two windows on the side of the big mirror with french doors that open to the outdoor dining space.

I’m in love with this Stray Dogs Design chandelier. Also, similar chairs here.

There are two sides to the family room. This sitting side is ideal for conversations and games.

We used striped Dash & Alberts rugs to keep this room separate but coordinated.

This shelf used to be a window, but we closed it in when we added the two new bedrooms off of this side of the house. It’s the perfect spot for our beach library.

We recovered the furniture that conveyed with the house with Lulie Wallace fabric to bring some bright color to the room. I love all of her fun patterns.

This side of the family room has the tv and opens up to the kitchen and pool area. Again, we replaced the windows on both sides of this mirror with doors.

This 1st bedroom downstairs that we added on has it’s own little personality with the Mirth tile floors.

More Stray Dog Designs lighting in here, I love this citrine color! And the bedding is by Biscuit Home.

This bedroom shares a jack & jill bathroom with the 2nd new bedroom downstairs. They each have their own vanity and separate toilet space, and then share a walk in shower. All of the bath tile is from Daltile.

The second downstairs bedroom that we added on is very much coordinated with the other bedroom. More
Mirth Studio tile on the floor but a different pattern, and these Stray Dog Designs wall sconces.

The bedding in here is also Biscuit Home, with this Hedgehouse throwbed on the end.

The vanity mirrors in the jack & jill bathroom are both wall mounted on the side and pull out.

Our Coral House soap by Old Whaling company.

There are two bedrooms upstairs, this one is the master bedroom.

We recovered the headboard with more Lulie Wallace fabric, and the bedding is Biscuit Home.

And the master bath. We didn’t change much up here because I love the original feel of this space. I find it so charming.

Here is the final and 4th bedroom that is also upstairs. Again, more Biscuit Home bedding :)

The drapes in both of these upstairs rooms were custom made with more Lulie Wallace fabric.

And the bathroom. We used these Fresh American stripe hampers in all of the bathrooms.

Both of the upstairs bedrooms open up to this balcony that has water views. There is a great breeze up here, too!

There is also an outdoor shower, which is one of my favorite additions we made to the home.

The outdoor dining space is right off of the dining room and kitchen and is covered. We had the teak table made on the island but there is a similar one here. And the chairs are from Candelabra.

And then right off of the outdoor dining is this lounge area. It helps connect the space to the pool patio.

We knew that we needed a pool and I think this space was perfect for it. We used Marazzi tile in it and I love how it looks!

This pink building used to be a little bunkhouse, but we opened up this side of it to make an outdoor pool bar. The other half of the building is a half bath with a washer and dryer. I love this barbie print!

Our Coral House VRBO site is updated with new pictures – would love for you to check it out! Maybe even plan a visit :)

One of the best parts of my day is crawling into my bed at night. There’s just something delightful about a freshly made bed with nice and clean, cold sheets. I keep mine bright and fresh with Clorox, and I’m so happy that Clorox & Cotton Incorporated asked me to partner with them on this sponsored post! Cotton & Clorox are pretty much the perfect duo for a clean and fresh bed.

White sheets might look peaceful and pretty in photos, but in reality we all know that they get put through the ringer with daily use. I love white, cotton bedding because I can easily toss them in the washing machine with bleach to keep them smelling fresh and looking bright white. For whitening my cotton fabrics I add my usual detergent and then just fill my bleach dispenser to the maximum level and hit start. No pre-soaking necessary.

We all know that Clorox Regular Bleach fight stains, but it also fights odor and sanitizes every load of your bleachable laundry. Odor build up occurs thanks to bacteria and sweat (yuck, but a fact of life). Adding Clorox bleach to loads of bleachable fabrics will remove tough stains, keep whites brighter longer, and sanitize your laundry to kill 99.9% of bacteria (which causes odor)! Did you know that breathable, non-synthetic fabrics like cotton actually trap fewer odors? And that they even release odors more easily during washing? Cotton is just so much better for keeping a fresh bed – making this duo a staple in our home for sheets and towels!

This little guy graduated from preschool! He’s so excited for kindergarten in the fall. I’m so proud of him :)

And I joined Lilly on her strawberry picking field trip at Boone Hall. We collected two baskets so I made a cake with them!

Loving the weather now and pretty much always getting to throw on a dress. This stripe one is so much fun.

Mother’s Day photo. This was before brunch and I had the best day with my family :) I got to sleep in, got the sweetest gifts made by these two, and even got a nap!

Lilly and I have started reading my old Babysitter’s Club books. I have the entire collection and saved them all. I’m so excited to be reliving it with Lil!

Sweet afternoons with these two. We just finally got our swurfer hung in our tree in our front yard, so between that and this porch swing we are out front a lot now. Loving this stripe throwbed, it’s one of my most favorite things.

I love this poplin mini dress so much that I bought it in both colors :) Also wearing these earrings, similar bag, and these sandals.

And a few pictures from my trip to Harbour Island last week. It was all about getting Coral House looking good and photographed (still waiting on Gray to edit those photos). Wearing this stripe tee in the photo below.

It was so rewarding to see all of the art I’ve been collecting all together in the house!

It was a lot of (fun) work.

This doorbell…

This housewarming gift from my island friend Amy. I love our logo on it!!

Some exploring before we flew out. I’m wearing this lace up swimsuit and this sarong/scarf.

And a peek at what I brought with me!
