Shoe Carnival provided me with product and compensation for this post.

The opinions I have shared about the products are my own.

We are in the thick of holiday season over here and our schedules are full, in the best kind of way. Lilly and Fletcher’s favorite afternoon activity involves riding through the neighborhood belting out holiday songs and pointing out festive decorations. Such activity requires comfortable (and cool!) sneakers :) So we partnered up with Shoe Carnival for a holiday style remix.

Just call us the Converse Family (even Josh has a pair!). It’s what we each picked out when we visited our local Shoe Carnival! They’re the perfect sneaker for every day activities, plus they’re just a classic. Perfect for an updated casual holiday look.

Gift cards are a great gift for the holidays, and this year I’ve partnered with a long time family favorite, Home Depot, to show an easy way to make your Home Depot Gift Cards feel more personal! My kids love to do crafts, so I enlisted their help putting together Home Depot’s unfinished picture frame kits.

The kits are simple enough for the kids to confidently build (with adult assistance)! All you need is a small hammer. I also picked up some sharpie makers for the kids to use to decorate them.

You just place the 4 pieces together like the picture on the instructions shows you…

And then nail each side in place with the provided nails – there are already pre-drilled holes so this is really simple and clear.

They were so proud!

The next morning Lilly and Fletcher decorated their frames using the sharpie markers I mentioned earlier. They got to choose exactly how they wanted to design them.

Home Depot’s holiday gift card selection is full of fun options this year. They each chose one gift card to place inside the picture frame. I did trim down the cards so that they would fit inside the frames.

This is such an easy way to make your Home Depot gift cards feel a little more personal while at the same time providing a fun holiday craft for your kids! I have a feeling this will be our new tradition. Keeping with the holiday shopping theme, here are some of my favorite gift ideas for all the cool people on your list :)

orange print, stones print, blue earrings, yellow earrings, gold earrings, blue bags,

unfortunate portrait cards, champagne gummy bears, stripe eye mask, pink robe,

blue earrings, backgammon, plume eyelash serum, pom ornament, jeni’s ice cream,

navy leather tote, pizza water bottle, ultimate sprinkles mix,

bloody mary cocktail kit, charging cable, blue pajamas, stripe throwbed

Buy the Sprinkles Mix for yourself, your neighbor, your child’s teacher, your mom, your bff… Trust me. And I am DYING over those unfortunate portrait playing cards. Also Tuckernuck just launched their first jewelry collection and it is right in line with everything I want to be wearing right now. It’s GOOD.

BTW, I just started using the Plume eyelash serum after my friend Jess at Bare Beauty recommended it. A safer version of Latisse, sign me up! And by “just started” I mean it came in the mail yesterday.

Lilly and Fletcher’s grandma has a Fairy Door and it is the first place they run to every single time we stop over. For Lilly’s birthday she got one of the new Wellie Wisher American Girl Dolls (we have Willa!) and she is so darling, Lilly loves her. The price is a little better than the originals, and they have a cute book series to go with them that we’ve started reading and are loving! And what little boy or girl wouldn’t want a personalized superhero photo for their room?! I just think this is so cool. And last but not least, we’ve been collecting Hazel Village dolls for 2 – 3 years now. I can’t say enough about them, they’re so sweet!
