The thing about a happy marriage is that you can get pretty comfortable. I know, this is a good thing. But after a few years and a couple of kids your once soft body has gotten even… softer.
Wait. Just me? In all honesty I’m happy with myself, for real. But I also know that I’d be way more pumped about hanging by the pool and going to the beach if I were a little more toned. I had a gentle reminder of this when trying on shorts (shorts!) a few days ago. Dang. So perhaps what I need is some shopping motivation. Nothing like a swimsuit to do that. Then maybe I’ll feel motivated to try a little harder, yes? I mean, it’s worth a shot ;)
So should I play it safe with another one piece?

I must admit as much as I adore all of these I’m also especially drawn to this Mara Hoffman bikini.

Alright. So my mind is absolutely everywhere. I really thought I’d get more focused in on one or two suits by writing this post. Not the case.
Regardless, a good cover-up is a must since I may not take it off in the first place…

I love love love that tulle bandeau one-piece from J Crew! I have it in navy and I just wore it a ton in Aruba. It’s so flattering and beautifully made. Good pick! (Now I might need to pick it up in that turq color!

I’m in love with the striped one piece with the hot pink band. I must try it on and see how it looks. I’ve always been a one piece type of girl, because I’m a bit heavy on top and bikini’s can’t hold me in. Ah sigh.

Casting my vote for that darling Anthro pink belted number…so frickin’ great…but not because I don’t think you could totally rock a bikini, ’cause gurl, you could totes ROCK. IT. I’m already trying to loose the mommy love handles before swim suit season, UGH.
This is a great collection! I love the VS maxi dress and the Mara Hoffman bikini! I picked up a new Zinke one piece this week and I’m dying for summer to get here!

My favorites are the Hilo Maillot one piece and the Zimmerman two piece. I wish I could wear a bandeau top, but they just don’t fit me right. I am a huge fan of mix and match anything. I tend to get sick of individual pieces and then find something else I own and pair it together. The colors are perfect on both suits. You really cannot go wrong with any of your choices!

We just bought a house with a pool this past fall, so I’m looking forward to lounging by the pool this summer…but then again I don’t think I’m ready to sport a bikini either! eeek!! Maybe I’ll just wear that amazing shirttail dress the whole summer. ;)

I love the maxi striped dress, I think it made me to my summer wish list, along many others from here, lovely selection! While I usually wear smaller bikinis I love the high waisted ones, so elegant!

I was just oogling over those anthro one pieces yesterday! So lovely! I’m not afraid to rock a bikini and I did all last summer but I think practicality and a little too much comfort food this winter is going to send me back into a one piece. I don’t want to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions while I’m chasing after two babes at the pool this year. And there are so many pretty and stylish one piece options I don’t feel like I’m in a speedo or mompiece.
