TGIF! Here’s a small round up of some of my life lately.

My long time dream of having a pink tree has come true thanks to Treetopia. So fun. How did we ever manage without one?

Loving how my bone inlay tray from Furbish looks containing all of my wrapping supplies this time of year.

One of my go to gifts this year (yet again) is Jane Pope Jewelry. Here they are all wrapped up and ready to go.

If you’re in Charleston you should stop by the Smith St Pop Up Shop in the little carriage house behind 27 Smith St. It’s adorable. Here’s a little space snap of Tink & Tiger things.

Had to have a real tree to go with our pink tree. The kids had a lot of opinions about how it would go down this year and they wanted colorful. So colorful they got. You might recognize our tree skirt from one of my outfit posts earlier this year.

Got out the Christmas china. Every year my mother in law gifts me another set and I love how they all are different. We are up to 8 sets now. How pretty is this set?

Making changes around here and here’s a color sneak peek!

This little vignette is right by our front door. I share this today because I just found that pink lady print online and I get a lot of questions about it.

With the approaching fall weather temperatures it’s about that time to break out long sleeves and jeans. Versatile pieces like this classic Johnston & Murphy blouse can go a long way in your wardrobe.

I know, again with another black and white outfit. And again with my Annabel Ingall tote. Just keeping it real over here.

These Johnston & Murphy Jade Monk Strap flats are a fun addition for my shoe rotation – they’re flats so they are perfect for daytime, but the shape and gold buckles give them a little bit of an edge.

Good Monday morning! I hope you had a nice weekend. I have a fun post centered around fall boots today. Fall boots from my favorite cool but affordable shoe spot – Sole Society!

I’m such a poser. Happy in my happy spot here in Charleston. This was one day about a week ago when Gray and I met to walk around The Battery downtown. A must see spot if you’re visiting Charleston. So many historic mansions and beautifully designed gardens lined up right on our city’s harbor. Battery Park is right there too, a good little spot to sit and have lunch or let your kids run. My tip – stop by Goat Sheep Cow on nearby Church Street for sandwiches before you walk over. But get there early, when they run out they run out.

So these slouchy suede Sole Society Natasha boots are super comfy and easy, perfect for a stroll around town. Great with leggings (like my favorite Spanx leggings I’m wearing here), jeans, skirts, shorts, or dresses. Anything.

And if you’re looking for a pretty version of the super popular bucket bag – I love this one I’m carrying by Sole Society. It hangs comfortably (super soft) and is current and cute.

Okay this photo here is definitely a weirdo picture but I wanted y’all to see how the sleeves are on this Helmut Lang sweatshirt. Totally cozy. Just like all of us. I mean, would I post this weirdo picture if we weren’t close? Worth noting, it’s fuzzy on the inside!

Happy Wednesday! Today’s outfit post is a repeat offender for me. All the pieces are favorites in my closet and easily go together. The Frame jeans are simple, yet unique (with the bleach detail and fray ankles) and comfortable.

And this stripe shirt is just too easy to throw on with anything.

The heels are serious favorites right now. Love the black and white.

I had been trying to figure out why Gray made me stand here… didn’t take long to figure it out.

Happy Monday!

I made it home from L.A. last night and it feels good to be home! It was such a great girl trip and I’m glad I made the effort to do it. I went out with Sally Benedict & Jane Pope to visit with our friend Marysia Reeves. We stayed at the Chateau Marmont (what a wonderful hotel!) the first two nights and at Marysia’s the last night. Such a fun visit!!

We were sorta like a Marysia Swim campaign at the pool on Friday and Saturday.

I think my favorite restaurant we ate at was Gjelinas in Venice Beach.

Trying on some of Jane’s jewels.

I brought my laptop to the pool Friday so that I could do some fast work. Here’s my Alesya bag!

IMG_3274

Fit in some shopping, I didn’t buy much on the trip but a few things for the kids.

Marysia’s evil eye heels!

Our room at the Chateau was insane – it was suite that overlooked the garden patio. So fun. Russell Simmons is in this photo somewhere down there.

Sunday morning when we woke up at Marysia’s her little girl Elle got a painting lesson from Sally.

Great trip! Okay here are some more random things from life lately…. I’m working on another fun project with GDC! Love checking out their fabric department.

Oh this is fun… so AOL came to Charleston and we shot 5 videos! A few are in my home, cooking and stuff – this picture here is from the shopping guide video! Can’t wait to see how these turn out and share.

I’ve been trying to drink more green juice during the week. Not a cleanse or anything but I substitute some breakfasts. I’m really liking it.

That’s all! Happy Monday.

I feel all sparkly inside to finally get to share this fun makeover project that I helped design earlier this summer. You know how much I love The Land of Nod. And you know how much I love Jane Pope. Put them together and my heart has the warm and fuzzies. Here’s Jane’s beautiful family.

Cooper_Portrait_0005

So here’s what happened. The Land of Nod heard that Jane Pope Cooper’s family needed a playroom revamp. So my friends at LON called me and asked if I could help them help Jane design the perfect space for her kiddos. Of course I said yes! Let’s show the before pictures…

And so a liiiiittle magic happened… Now the after!

Some of you might remember from my family’s makeover project with Land of Nod that we used these leaning bookcases, too. Love them so much!

We have the cork rails and paper holders in our playroom too – perfect for hanging art work and pictures.

The book nook. My favorite space in the Cooper’s whole room. Side note, I have a Joya rocker that we used in Fletcher’s nursery and can speak for it’s legit-ness. I love it.

Pretty great, isn’t it?! I’m so happy for Jane’s family – her kiddos are in love with their new space. You can find this feature in the new August Land of Nod Catalog! Big, BIG thanks to The Land of Nod for making yet another dream come true. They really are the best kind of people over there.
