Look Linger Love

On a recent dinner date with my friends Gray and Jackie I wore yet another white ensemble. Go figure.

Ask me what my favorite summer outfit is and I’ll tell you it’s a loose fitting and breathable dress. This Eileen Fisher linen blend dress fits that description perfectly. It’s comfortable like a sleep shirt but pulls together nicely for a night out. I love the floaty, asymmetrical hem and front pockets.

Eileen Fisher is one of those genius type of brands that focuses on not only quality and comfort, but also easy dressing. It’s a modular style collection that can be mixed and matched from season to season. Takes a lot of guess work out for someone who doesn’t have the time or desire. We all know I totally love to get dressed with all that it entails, but being a mom I also have to have easy to grab options that I can throw on in a hurry and still look cute. I’m discovering that Eileen Fisher is a perfect line for this.

Moving along, did you see that a new Bauble Bar x Nordstrom collection has launched? I’m wearing the peacock necklace in coral here. I really like this pendant necklace, too.

Last week I fell in love with this Rebecca Minkoff floral dress. It swirls around my feet and has an elastic top making it easy for wearing on or off the shoulders. It’s a really pretty print, too.

My friend Morgan owns Shop Buru (a super cute store with moms in mind) and I’m so honored to be a part of her new Before, During, & After series. So the idea is that 3 women wear one dress at different stages of their lives as a new mom and beyond. This was a good night – the night I wore pajama shorts to dinner. Not just any pjs though, Tink & Tiger. So it’s completely and totally acceptable. I mean… they’re silk, and I dressed them up a little.
